The food is excellent and the staff is amazing. We traveled to Istanbul, Turkiye a few years ago and this is the most authentic Turkish food we have been able to find in the US.

We also ate here 9 days ago and enjoyed it so much we went back as quickly as possible. We had the Turkish pastry appetizer(similar to a spring roll) and the lamb pottery kebab this time. Last time we tried the imam bayildi, Greek salad, Turkish pastry and manti. Everything is very good and the portions are large. You may want to stick to the Turkish dishes as they are authentic. The balon lavaş is a lot of fun.

Service was exceptional, food was great, menu was really clear and presentation was superb. We felt the prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were adequate. Wine selection was good. We will return.

My husband and I had never had Turkish food, so we decided to go when this restaurant opened, and we are glad we did. The server was extremely helpful and informative about the food , beer, and wine. He answered all the questions we had, and his recommendations were perfect. We shated the Moonshiners appetizer, which was like a pastry with layers of cheese. It came with honey. Then we had the entree which is cooked in a clay pot and opened at your table. We chose chicken as our protein. This came with Turkish rice, which was very good. For dessert, I had Turkish coffee, and my husband had the rice pudding, of which I also had some. It was very creamy and good. With our dinner, I had one of the red Turkish wines, and my husband had a Turkish beer. All was very good. We will return.

Original Turkish cuisine and atmosphere. They didn't know about reservation and there people asked me about it. Portions not large. Asked for extra olive oil but no success. Baklava was small not like in the menu and very expensive.
