I was very much impressed with the quality of the service and food on a holiday weekend. Mother’s Day is always challenging for restaurants, but Connie and Ted’s handled this celebration with great skill.

A wonderful place to go for seafood classics like raw oysters, chowders, steamed clams and lobster sandwiches. The attraction for us was the whole belly clams, which my wife loves. A great selection of beers, wines and in house crafted cocktails completes the experience. We didn’t have dessert but the whoopie pie looked like a guest favorite. Thanks Connie and Ted’s!

This was my first time trying Connie and Ted's, decided this is what I wanted to celebrate Mother's Day & my son's birthday. The food was excellent and they had a great menu for mother's day brunch. The food was excellent, we shared the crab and lobster omelette, lobster croque, Dozen oysters with the champagne, and to end it we shared the four roses Crème brûlée. My son and I both loved it! I'm a officially a fan and it did not disappoint. Our server took great care of us as well.

Connie and Ted's is one of our absolute favorites. We are addicted to their warm lobster roll with melted butter and their fabulous fries. Everyone we take there loves the place as well. And, very importantly, their wait staff - and hosting staff - are always the BEST there is.

We had a delightful experience today! We started with the Chowder Sampler, then had the Crab Cake, Monkey Bread, and the Live Sea Urchin. We then got the Black Cod with Blistered Snap Peas. This dish was our least favorite, although it wasn't bad. We ended our meal with the Boozy Brûlée and Ice Cream. Beware! The Boozy Brûlée is made with Four Roses Bourbon, and it is so very boozy flavored! We really enjoyed our meal, the service, and the atmosphere!

Food, service and ambience was as always 5 star! But chocolate cake was taken off menu about a year ago and has not returned- Why not?! It was the best!

A perfectly wonderful evening. First time trying this place. Got a reservation a week in advance and they ended up seating us at a spacious booth for two, just inside near the patio space. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, from descriptions of the wine selections to the chef special’s of the day - he went into great detail and knew a lot about the menu. Some of the best oysters we’ve ever had (chef’s selection) and for the mains - we had the rockfish and lobster roll; both were absolutely divine! Got a bottle of the Sancerre wine to split, which was the perfect pairing. And don’t sleep on the sides - we got the wilted spinach and potato salad which were both full of flavor and very delicious. We made sure to save room for dessert and got the whoopie pie. Fresh and fluffy, the perfect end to our meal. Also wanted to mention that our busser was very kind, checked in on us regularly, and always made sure our table was cleared and cleaned. A social, comfortable, yet high quality place with expert service. We were extremely impressed! Very excited to go back and try the rest of the menu!!

Been here many times but each time the food seems to get better and better. The New England Claim Chowder is perfect. The fish and chips are again perfect. This time we tried the blue mackerel and the seasoning and presentation was excellent. Only things of caution: Wine is generally $20 or more per glass and the prices are expensive Dinner for two with tip $195.00.

Wow, what a fantastic place. I've wanted to visit for years and finally did. Originally from Cape Cod, I found the food here to be very authentic in both taste and appearance. The clam strips are awesome, and the chowder is phenomenal. I can't wait to come back.

Connie, Ted, I would like to thank you both for a beautiful meal, delicious beverages, and exquisite desserts. The service was fantastic and friendly on every level. Oysters? Amazing! Grilled Lobster? Beyond words! Mac & Cheese? Possibly the best in LA without bacon in it (and we order it everywhere it’s on the menu). Spinach and bacon? My mouth is watering at the memory. Onion Rings? Not so great, but who cares it’s a seafood restaurant, why was I ordering onion rings? Mezcal drinks, tequila drinks, bourbon drinks? All delicious and unique without being too fruity or under boozed. Now the desserts… when I tell you that the old fashioned donuts and Sundae Funday were to die for, I mean that I am writing this post posthumously and I want this read at my funeral, and both were phenomenal and balanced their own sweet and savoriness perfectly. Maybe 1/4 or a 1/3 less expensive than a similar meal at most good places around Los Angeles. Mwah!

I never cared much for fish until I ate here. The oysters are exactly as stated on the description-- sweet, umami etc. Best Fish n Chips. When in season-- the halibut!!! Try the brunch menu on the weekend. The omelette with crab & lobster with the sweet sauce-- damn!

Oysters were very good. I'm a west coast guy who prefers east coast oysters and they didn't disappoint. This particular night, the MA oyster was the overall winner. The onion rings are not to be missed. Monkfish special was done perfectly (moist and tender) but over-salted. Got it served plain without sauce. Even with sauce I don't think they'd have been able to hide the salt. Rookie sous chef mistake, but have been many times before for great meals so won't dissuade me from future visits.

Overall a nice meal with great service. The fish and chips were a bit disappointing. It lacked the light crispiness and tasted a bit soggy. Everything else was outstanding from the Parker rolls to a string bean side which was so delicious. Our waitress was excellent but when we had asked the other staff for things like malt vinegar and a knife, we had to ask more than once. Overall though I would definitely come here again.

Visited this place various times before, but it has certainly aged. Reception was cold and when we asked for a table away from the front door, we seemed to have asked for the impossible. Too bad we were hungry. We should have left. Food was very quick and quality so-so. Our waitress was kind, but could not save our dinner. In and out within 45 minutes and parking fee is USD 17.00! This restaurant is off my list for good.

Had excellent grilled monkfish, with good server rec on best way to prepare it. Macaroni and cheese side very good. Wife enjoyed her fish and chips. No complaints, good food in a fun atmosphere.

Connie & Ted's seafood joint was exceptional. I loved the pasta and oysters. Felt it was so well made I actually finished the whole thing! Went with a girl friend, going to take my folks next time.

Think total freshness. Every ingredient is highest quality, cooked perfectly and simply. No room for missteps and they don't make any. I could eat here every day without a problem.

First, the oysters on the half are excellent. They have daily interesting choices from Eastcoast and Westcoast. A great way to start with cocktails and/or wine. The choices are plenty. This is my favorite part of a dinner. It is unlikely to make a mistake for the rest if the meal. There is allways a daily set of specials. Many lobster choices. In other words, go there and enjoy!
