Connie, Ted, I would like to thank you both for a beautiful meal, delicious beverages, and exquisite desserts. The service was fantastic and friendly on every level. Oysters? Amazing! Grilled Lobster? Beyond words! Mac & Cheese? Possibly the best in LA without bacon in it (and we order it everywhere it’s on the menu). Spinach and bacon? My mouth is watering at the memory. Onion Rings? Not so great, but who cares it’s a seafood restaurant, why was I ordering onion rings? Mezcal drinks, tequila drinks, bourbon drinks? All delicious and unique without being too fruity or under boozed. Now the desserts… when I tell you that the old fashioned donuts and Sundae Funday were to die for, I mean that I am writing this post posthumously and I want this read at my funeral, and both were phenomenal and balanced their own sweet and savoriness perfectly. Maybe 1/4 or a 1/3 less expensive than a similar meal at most good places around Los Angeles. Mwah!

I never cared much for fish until I ate here. The oysters are exactly as stated on the description-- sweet, umami etc. Best Fish n Chips. When in season-- the halibut!!! Try the brunch menu on the weekend. The omelette with crab & lobster with the sweet sauce-- damn!

Oysters were very good. I'm a west coast guy who prefers east coast oysters and they didn't disappoint. This particular night, the MA oyster was the overall winner. The onion rings are not to be missed. Monkfish special was done perfectly (moist and tender) but over-salted. Got it served plain without sauce. Even with sauce I don't think they'd have been able to hide the salt. Rookie sous chef mistake, but have been many times before for great meals so won't dissuade me from future visits.

Overall a nice meal with great service. The fish and chips were a bit disappointing. It lacked the light crispiness and tasted a bit soggy. Everything else was outstanding from the Parker rolls to a string bean side which was so delicious. Our waitress was excellent but when we had asked the other staff for things like malt vinegar and a knife, we had to ask more than once. Overall though I would definitely come here again.

Visited this place various times before, but it has certainly aged. Reception was cold and when we asked for a table away from the front door, we seemed to have asked for the impossible. Too bad we were hungry. We should have left. Food was very quick and quality so-so. Our waitress was kind, but could not save our dinner. In and out within 45 minutes and parking fee is USD 17.00! This restaurant is off my list for good.

Had excellent grilled monkfish, with good server rec on best way to prepare it. Macaroni and cheese side very good. Wife enjoyed her fish and chips. No complaints, good food in a fun atmosphere.
