Comptoir is one of my favourite restaurants in Bath as having visited Beirut frequently, Comptoirs food is authentic, fresh and so tasty. Such a reminder of Lebanon. I took my Mum and Dad there when they were in Bath and it was my Dad who flew in and out of Beirut so ate there all the time and he was very impressed by the food which is a fantastic endorsement to the tasty delicious taste of authentic Lebanese food. Please keep it up! We are very lucky to be local so frequently eat there. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is fresh, clean and vibrant. You walk in and you are greeted with a warm welcome and a bright fresh ambiance of a different world. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. 😀

Wasn’t up to the usual standards of this chain we have eaten in the Oxford and London branches and the service and food were superior.

Staff were very attentive and meal was delicious, the mixed grill in particular. The restaurant was very empty on a weekday lunchtime and we changed our table because we seemed to be in a very noisy spot, music was pumping!. But the music was a bit loud throughout! We will return, the flatbreads and baba ganoush and the tabouleh starters are a must.

The food was absolutely lovely. We ordered the chicken tagine and the mixed grill, which were both delicious. One small thing is that I was disappointed when I ordered the 'fresh orange juice' from the menu only to receive juice from a carton... the word 'fresh' should really be removed from the menu unless the restaurant plans to start juicing some oranges right there and then, it's a bit misleading.

Arrived with email booking. Waitress denied knowledge of booking. Begrudgingly shown to table. Food served before drinks. Had to ask twice again for drinks. Food ok. Service poor

Lovely restaurant and staff. Toilets need a revamp, my husband ordered chicken which was very dry. I had mezzo for one, the falafel was very hard and the cheese pastry was also tough in texture. Good wine. On the way out I noticed a specials menu which we weren’t offered. Not planning on returning.

Food was good, service ok, but the toilets were disgusting all out of order apart from two and was dirty, at least the ones that are open keep clean.

lovely interesting food in a large area with quirky decorations. The service was a bit patchy but friendly. We enjoyed our special night out for my husbands birthday.
