Compa was amazing! Not only was the food amazing, the cocktails were great and most importantly the service was outstanding. When we left Compa we could not get over the experience which we provided and are still dreaming about the scallops. Don’t walk but run to compa! I could not recommend this place enough.

The food and service was just outstanding. Our waiter had taken the extra and had put GF next to all items that were gluten free. Very impressed with the service. Food was amazing.

We had a terrific night. Thoroughly impressed by the fitout, the welcome, the attention of staff (particularly to detail) and the food. Staff seemed to anticipate what was needed and when! Well done all involved, and particularly to Matt Moran for bringing this restaurant to #CBR.

The food was delicious, including oysters and the sweetest scallops. Pastas were delicious, will revisit to try the beef. Needed to ask for assistance on wine selection, which by the glass are international. Helpful sommelier assisted. Lovely and attentive service from the staff. As a local you can tell this is the third iteration's of a restaurant in this location. I would loved to have seen how Moran would have designed this restaurant if it was an original fit out.

Unfortunately the experience I had was one I’d rather forget. For an establishment like this and the price I paid I was expecting so much more. We were seated at the counter and felt like I was looking in to a bar that belong to the labour club. It was super messy and it had no charm. The food was average, my prawns were over cooked, the kifler potato’s were under done. It felt like the restaurant was over servicing and we were packed in like sardines. The staff seem stressed and unorganised. I had very high hopes for this place. However it’s not one I would recommend.

Attentive service, amazing food, great vibe. It was a little loud but it was Friday lunch, so to be expected. Loved it; will be back.

Really enjoyed out lunch at Compa. The food was beautiful and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice to be seated near the open kitchen and enjoyed watching the camaraderie with the chefs.

Great service and knowledgeable staff. Better options than steak to order. Some dishes disappointing, but overall it was a good dining experience. We went for lunch so we’re not limited to a timeframe. We sat in a booth, the tables on the side look up to the outside path- not a view you want while eating as ppl walking past ….

Food and service were really really good. Few of us are pretty fussy and we all thought it was great service really nice food and good value for money - we had the $115 pp set menu. My only complaint is that we were charged a cakeage fee. We used the same crockery and cutlery for the desert that was part of the set menu that we used for the cake that I brought for my Sons bday. With 12 people and the amount spent I would think it not that much to expect to be able to bring a cake and have to pay $120 extra for the privelage of reusing plates and cutlery that were alread y supplied with the 3rd course of our set menu. Other than that it was great. I will be back with my wife to try the a la carte menu.

Rump cap wagyu was delicious!! Highly recommend. I only gave 4 for ambience due to the bench seat I was seated at being quite awkward when eating / conversing.

We were very excited to try Compa, but also a little sceptical. Was it all hype? Would it live up to all the pre-opening reviews? Having read some not-so-good reviews, we wondered how the restaurant would actually be. Well, we were blown away with just how good the food was. We loved the place. The steaks were amazing, and cooked to perfection. The scallops were fantastic, as were the prawns for entree. I thoroughly recommend Compa and we will definitely be back for a fabulous meal.

I took my wife on a Friday night and as soon as we got there we were seated at the bottom of the steps. Wasn’t happy about the layout. Food overall was delicious, I had the scotch fillet and my wife had the eye fillet. I can definitely recommend the eye fillet with the red wineries and a side of chips to share. For dessert we shared something called the Zuppa which was delicious. Overall was. 9/10. If I go again I would be asking to be seated somewhere else.

I was so excited to go to Compa for my birthday. I went to enter the street door only to find it locked (entry via a side door). A blind man also tried to enter via the street door. Why have a door if you have no intention of opening it. The food was nice although very limited menu and $$$. The setting arrangements throughout were very cramped (too many tables and chairs). Manoeuvring around on exit was a lot of side walking. The service was brilliant but I was surprised that there were so many staff working there (over kill). There was a magnificent wood fire pizza stove but no pizza’s. One of us had the Prawn casarece, the prawns look like those tiny tin prawns, the flavours were great. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back. When we received the bill, it had a card charge (we hadn’t even mentioned paying by card). Is this legal?

COMPA Didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent as was the food. As with any quasi fine dining restaurant, the prices are high. I don’t with my wife and a friend and each of us had a steak and we shared to side dishes. We had bread and an oyster each for entree. we offered not to have dessert as we have had plenty of food and deserts were $18-$20 a little excessive. The location is very noisy with a lot of hard services so can be hard to hear friends at a table as some tables are very close to others. Oh a very good experience we will probably return for that special occasion.

Delicious food and wine. The wine suggested by the sommelier that accompanied our food was spot on. Our waitress Louise was extremely knowledgeable and yes the carrots were devine.

Had to try this new restaurant. Booked for 6, but on arrival saw that we had to share a table with another group and they laid it out that two of our party was facing three of our party across the table, with one at the head - so staggered and the third person on the one side was facing nobody. We rearranged the seats ourselves. This was after booking way in advance. Pretty poor of them to do this. Food was good but not great.

Enjoyed our first visit to COMPA. The service and food were impeccable. We shared two entrees of beef carpaccio which were sublime. I’ve never really grasped the whole “melt in your mouth” steak until enjoying a perfect rib eye filet at COMPA. My sister will not stop talking about the gnocchi, which was exceptionally good. A good selection of wines by the glass.

The food was well-cooked and delicious, the wait staff were friendly and professional. It was the first week of the restaurant opening, so they were very busy and short-staffed. We had a bottle of red wine sitting on the counter and we had to catch the waiter's attention to top up our glasses for, he was apologetic. The washroom was messy and dirty and they had run out of toilet paper. This is not something I would expect from an upmarket restaurant. What is the manager doing? I would return one more time, and hopefully, they have sorted out their teething problems.

Overall a great night out. We were seated in-front of the constantly opening doors and the busy reception desk. This didn't create the best atmosphere. My only other complaint was the serving ware. The metal plate with a square of greaseproof paper under a beautiful zucchini flower completely cheapened the experience
