For Matt Moran’s ACT debut - antipasto, pasta and charcoal
dishes bring a touch of Tuscany to your table. As with all
his establishments, at the heart of his menu is quality
produce that is fresh, seasonal and locally sourced.

    Overall, I enjoyed myself. I arrived a bit earlier for my reservation, and I had a lot of options of seats to choose from. I liked my table a lot, and thank god I changed my seat before the first dish was on the table because of a later incident(another customer spilled his red wine all over the chair I initially sat). My dishes were outstanding, though I wish the menu could be expanded to include more dishes, non-alcoholic drinks and desserts. This was my little recon mission to prepare for my next visit with a special someone. It’s a nice place to have a romantic dinner without worrying too much about being seen and interrupted by others.

    Zucchini flowers just as good as the first time! Trout was delicious. Very attentive and efficient service.

    The food and drinks were delightful. The waiting staff pleasant and attentive. The ambiance was very nice and overall we had a lovely night. The only blemish on the evening was that without any notice we were asked to settle our account within 10 minutes as they had another booking. We booked for 6pm and asked to vacate our table by 8pm. For a $700 meal I would have thought there would only be one sitting. We were happy to continue our night however we had to finish early without notice. There was no acknowledgement or thanks as we left the venue although our expectations of hospitality is high after returning from a holiday in Japan. In summary, Compa provides quality contemporary food in a comfortable dining room. On this basis you may consider other options as the restaurant is expensive and front of house falls short of what you would expect for the cost.

    Compa was amazing! Not only was the food amazing, the cocktails were great and most importantly the service was outstanding. When we left Compa we could not get over the experience which we provided and are still dreaming about the scallops. Don’t walk but run to compa! I could not recommend this place enough.

    The food and service was just outstanding. Our waiter had taken the extra and had put GF next to all items that were gluten free. Very impressed with the service. Food was amazing.

    We had a terrific night. Thoroughly impressed by the fitout, the welcome, the attention of staff (particularly to detail) and the food. Staff seemed to anticipate what was needed and when! Well done all involved, and particularly to Matt Moran for bringing this restaurant to #CBR.
