Loved that they had live music but hated that it had to compete with the indoor piped in music. Food was pretty basic—little bit better than dinosaur chicken nuggets but nothing outstanding.

The lobster spaghetti had no taste, my friend wedge salad was horrible. I ordered the old fashion it was too sweet I requested another with different bourbon he said the first was a pre mixed version. It took forever to get our food. Johnathon who waited on us tried his best to accommodate us but I think he was overwhelmed. We finished and went upstairs to rooftop. It was nice dj was great. Had a drink much better. Overall the atmosphere and ambiance was nice but service and food. Needed help.

It was our first time here. Our server John was great. He had some good suggestions. I got the flatbread. It was just okay. The crust was good, but the toppings lacked flavor. My husband got the fried chicken. It came out with a piece of chicken that appeared to be on the small side. Luckily, it contained few bones so there was more meat to it than it appeared. The flavor was pretty good. We would try again but will steer away from the flatbread.

Food was super bland and left a was not well seasoned at all. I ordered oysters and it seems like they hand pick the smallest ones available and slap a fat price tag on them. Def not worth the hype.

I was so excited because I think Richard Branson is so cool - and this restaurant is in his Virgin Hotel. We were underwhelmed by the vibe. Felt like we woke our bartender up. Had oysters that were shriveled and dry. We didn’t stay for dinner. What a bummer.

We had a wonderful experience at the Commons Club! We made last minute reservations and got the best table I could imagine. Super comfy, swanky, and relaxed is the vibe. It seems dark but once you sit down with the candles and adjust, it’s truly so lovely. Great music, great food options for all, and our server was wonderful! Loved it.

Girls Trip to Nashville and excited to try Commons Club Kitchen based on other reviews. Unfortunately it just did not live up to the hype. Gorgeous space and really liked the ambiance but the service and food (overall) fell flat. Happy hour oysters were fantastic and one of my friends absolutely loved the short ribs. The flatbreads were mediocre and the pork chop presentation was very basic. Just meat on a plate with potatoes and cold asparagus. Timing was so slow- took a long time to get drink orders, get drinks, take food order, get checks, etc. Actually so disinterested at the end of the night, we didn't even get dessert nor were we asked if we would like any. Perhaps just an off night. May give them another try when we are back in town again.

Ambience and service was great. The vibe is very nice and the tables are all comfortable. The food needed more flavor or seasoning. It looked like nice presentation, but could not be finished. The price was a little too high for us, but would be nice for someone who wants a more neutral food dish or something that is more on the bland side.

Really cute upscale lounge atmosphere . We had great drinks and excellent light late night food. We just happened on a wonderful female vocalist and her guitar/singer duo.

From a cozy intimate table to an amazingly plated main course we loved this place! Great live music capped off our dessert course and after-dinner drinks. Definitely worth checking out!

My experience at Commons Club KItchen and bar was amazing. I was there for my birthday with some family and friends. The food was very good and Kita, our waitress was outstanding . She was very attentive and so kind. We will definitely come back.

The food here was very good. Not a lot of people due to the weather. We had an amazing burger and the fries were outstanding. The lobster spaghetti was outstanding, I was worried that it would be too rich but it wasn't! It was a standout. The Smores Old Fashion was a scrumptious and fun take on an old fashion. Service was ok, probably due to not having a lot of customers due to the weather. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here.

Everything was mostly OK. Had a “meat and three” which the server recommended the steak ($45). Honestly, not a bad price for how big the steak was. But it wasn’t anything to write home about. Sides were also OK. Friend had the fried chicken- they said it was ok as well, nothing special in a town full of fried chicken. Wife had a charcuterie board that definitely tasted like it came from Costco. They were for sure understaffed and did the best they could in the situation. Breakfast at the hotel is better for sure.

An early dinner with Friends. The Drinks and food are always wonderful, we had a variety and everyone was very satisfied. It’s the perfect atmosphere to have great conversations and enjoy great service.

Went for drag brunch. The queens were great; honestly wasn't sure the caliber of performers we would see - they did NOT disappoint. It was difficult to see at times given the venue, but I liked how they worked with it.

We were there to see Onoleigh, who is amazing. Her performance with the acoustic guitar accompaniment was stellar...star qualities. His vocals are pretty good, too. The atmosphere improved as people left that weren't interested in watching them (understandable...it's a lounge). Drinks were overpriced, and we did not have food. Service was good.

Only reason we went was we were told it was a fall themed outing, but they just had an area for a picture and three “fall cocktails”. Although all three were made with vodka, and I would expect something a little cozier and maybe bourbon bases for a fall menu. The service was great, and we had lively weather. However the food was expensive and unimpressive. Steaks were all cooked poorly, some over and some under cooked. Tuna tartare was not good. Between the loud music being played on the speaker and the party buses that kept driving by the outside ambience was also disappointing. I would not return.

Came in to eat for a birthday dinner and it was terrible. It started with our waitress telling us it was only her second day and she was put on the floor to serve. As a server myself that’s crazy. Management should not be putting servers on the floor when they haven’t been properly trained. I don’t know if there are sections in this restaurant but she was running inside and outside waiting on tables everywhere. She was stretched incredibly thin due to poor management. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks to the table, in which we had to ask MULTIPLE different servers for refills because they kept forgetting. We only got one coke refill the whole time. Once again as a server if you can’t keep a drink refilled do better. After waiting for quite a while for food we saw our food come up in the kitchen and heard the cooks yell hands. Then no one came. After the third time of them yelling for hands we debated if we need to come grab our food since no one seemed to be concerned our food was dying in the window. Finally someone did bring it to us and two plates of chicken were bloody and undercooked. The mac-n-cheese, asparagus and fried potatoes with garlic were cold. We sent the chicken back of course and ordered a pork chop. Explain why we got dessert brought out and then had to once again ask about the pork chop. This was when we finally spoke to a manager, I don’t know her name but she was very kind and did help try to fix our issues. She immediately walked into the kitchen and came back with the pork chop. So was it ready once again dying in the window. I’m confused? Regardless the manager did comp off our food to try to make up for it but we came from out of town for a 21rst birthday celebration and this was the one nice dinner we went out to and it was ruined. Only thing nice about this place is the atmosphere and design. You’ll get a good picture but terrible service and food. Y’all need to allow more characters because I have a lot more I could say.

We really enjoyed our visit, but were there for a Drag Brunch, and some large steel architectural columns in the space blocked our view of the performers since we were in the back corner. It was still a great time - and the staff were all amazing - just make sure and ask for an unobstructed view if you go on a Drag Brunch day.
