Common Ground is a neighborhood restaurant and bar situated between the historic Sylvan Park and the rapidly growing Nations. The menu features approachable yet elevated cuisine, accompanied by a world-class cocktail program. Reservations and walk-ins both welcomed for dinner, lunch, and brunch.

The space offers a hip-casual atmosphere designed with a modern-simplistic feel. Chef Eric Babula, formerly of Chicago-based 8 Hospitality, leads the culinary team. The beverage program consists of Wes Taylor, formerly of The Patterson House and M Street Entertainment; and Matt Ramos, a certified sommelier recently at Tony Mantuano's Yolan and Kayne Prime Steakhouse.

Common Ground, Wow, what an amazing dining experience! First time dining here and we will definitely be back! Had a resy, but we are bar seat diners and the bar had seats so we took a corner spot in this restaurant, but the dining room was also lovely and inviting. Thomas was amazing, he told us we ordered fabulously, because we ordered all but one starter, which we will try next time, along with anything else we haven't tried. The focaccia was amazing, the jam and spreads were gone in minutes, the crudo was so fresh with amazing ponzu, the short rib lettuce wraps, just pure yum! The steak tartare was exceptional, pickled and also so fresh, with freshly cooked chips and some aioli that is to die for! The scallops were perfectly seared over something I can't even describe, just yes, order this! And lastly, we HAD to order the carrot cake to split between the 3 of us, and just wow! Thomas said they make it as French toast for brunch and I think, no I know, we have to try that! We will be back, Wes was so kind and it was just the right amount of casual class we look for, this place is a MUST TRY, my husband said, this is the best place we've dined at in a while, I agree! #commonground YUMMY

Delicious food and excellent service at this locally owned restaurant. We’ve never had a bad meal there.

We had a great time! Our server was great and the food was very good. The espresso martini flight was great! Our server brought us complimentary shots for a birthday we were celebrating. We will be back!

Had the best experience at Common Ground. Great drinks. Great food. Great service. Wes and Mila treated us extra special for our first time there. Will definitely be back!!

The host was very nice and sat us immediately. Our waitress was lovely. our drinks were fantastic. The appetizers were ok, the salad was the best part of our meal. The shrimp were dry and tough. I ordered the fish special and when it came out there was an odd smell - a sour smell to the dish. I took one small bite and knew something was off. My husband also took a bite and stated that the fish was bad. the waitress came over and the host took the fish to the back. They offered me something else off the menu. I was charged full price for my new meal. I do not think we will be back.
