With only 10 bar height chairs at the cocktail bar, the COMMIS BAR experience offers a fixed 4-course menu highlighting some the best seasonal Northern California ingredients through modern and classic cooking techniques.

Diners at the bar are invited for 1.5 to 2 hours over the entire course of the meal with the shorter fixed menu compared to our full length DINING ROOM menu experience.

The BAR menu is a 4 -course set menu that is only offered at the tall bar chairs at the 10 seat cocktail bar. Menu Price $95 per person Optional Wine Pairings $55 per person We require all guest including young patrons to participate in menu during the experience. A $100 per guest security deposit is collected upon booking the reservation. The deposit will be credited towards your final check after your experience at the restaurant.

One of the best meals we've had. Inventive and interesting food with a professional and friendly staff. They have definitely earned their second Michelin star!!

Incredible all around! Every course was phenomenal and you will leave feeling satisfied and full! It was our third time in the last 9 months. We can’t wait to be back.

The bar experience was absolutely phenomenal and we got to watch the bar staff make fancy drinks all night too!

The service is outstanding. I made a mistake in my reservation and it was easily resolved by the front staff. The experience at the bar was fun, surprising, and innovative. The wine pairing was masterful and highly recommend,

Main course of the bar menu changed from pork to ST Jacques (without the orange corals / egg sack as usual in the US and that's a pitty), good service overall, ambiance a bit too strict for me but personal and common issue / downer in Michelin starred restaurant vs just having the thrill of food in a friendly, warm, open minded and less formal environment... maybe it will come one day... French chefs in Paris are starting to propose that already... Worth 1 star for sure for me and my friends who accompanied me twice at Commis but need to try the table experience to comment and evaluate on the two stars. But I am guessing it does.
