Steaks were cooked to perfection, even the veggies deserve a mention as they were fighting the steak for 1st place. The wine choices for red were top notch. Dessert !! Don’t leave this place without trying the cheese cake or chocolate layer cake as they were both great. Shout out to the Aussie for the great service.

It was exceptional and met all our expectations! The atmosphere, service and food were great! A bit pricey but knew this going in and the experience was well worth it!

The most delicious steak I've had! It's pricey but we have been once per year for a special occasion and it's a meal that you think about until the next year.

Exceptional food, atmosphere, and service. The steak and prime rib were perfect. The seasonal vegetables tender & crisp and the mashed potatoes needed nothing extra on them! Perfectly cooked & seasoned meal!

We had a great meal! I expressed my annoyance that the only vegetable they ever serve is carrots.. we pay a premium price and they serve the cheapest vegetable you can buy! Well they listened and gave us broccolini! The service was excellent. Highly recommend!!

Excellent steak and a lovely, upscale ambiance. We went for my birthday and they comped the cheesecake and it was served with a sparkler! Lovely.

Come enjoy a mouth watering steak,seafood,salmon or come have an appy or hamburger.Believe me you will be pleased. To go out for dinner is $s anywhere You want a great meal try the Columbia Steakhouse at least once you will want to go back

An incredible evening out. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, service was outstanding and we so appreciated the extra care and attention the staff took to ensure my meal was gluten free/celiac safe.

The price is way too high for portion size . I understand food prices have gone up but the prices are way too high. Service was fine but should have been better for price . For those prices my water glass should never be empty.

My husband and I went for a date last night to the Comumbia Steakhouse & Bar in Trail, BC. We shared some baked shrimp that were just super delish with a bit of cheese on it and the yummy sauce and also a Toasted bread with parmesan cheese on top ! And for the main we both got the steak and lobster combo! The steak it's just something so good ,super tender, cook to perfection(medium rare,I like mine) and it was just melting in your mouth! Also accompanied with the lobster ,that was really delicious as well and mashed potatoes and glade carrots! I loved all the food and it was just one of the best steak and lobster I had !! The waitress that serve us was super nice and really good at her job! We had a really nice evening!

I felt rushed when the waitress was removing our guests plates before the entire table was finished eating, almost like trying to tell us to leave. And the lighting was too dim for reviewing the menus. However, the food was exceptional and the waitress was very pleasant and doing her best to accommodate our every whim. I might suggest a few more chicken or pasta alternatives on the menu.

Since moving from Vancouver to Castlegar several years ago, we have never found a restaurant that is upscale with a lovely date-night elegance and perfectly prepared food (steak in particular) and service. We found it now! Our meal was perfection and the service impeccable. This is our go to place from here on in. Thank you to the chef, kitchen staff and servers ❤️ The martini was perfection in a glass😉

We arrived at 7. Had cocktails then appetizers then mains. When we asked for a dessert menu we were told the kitchen was closed. We felt that they were trying to rush us out. It was 9 on a Friday night.

Service was adequate. As a retired business consultant, I taught customer service. I know how it should be. No personal touches, just basic communication offered. My steak was full of gristle, potatoes cold. It did not go unnoticed because we were offered appetizer coupons for next visit. We are very generous customers and always tip well. I think I need to come out of retirement and start earning the tips the staff are getting and not earning. It was my birthday and it was not a celebration. The last time we came it was our anniversary. Sadly, I doubt we will come again.

The food and service was great however there was about 4 different servers asking how we were doing or needed anything which normally is great but it was to many times while we were trying to talk and enjoy our food.

Let’s me set the scene. It’s valentines and I want to impress a lady so I’ve booked a table at the classiest place in town. When we arrive we are instantly and warmly greeted and shown to our table, offered drinks and told the special. Such great service, we ordered the special, steak and lobster. Started with an awesome Caesar salad. The main was amazing. The lobster was very well presented and delicious btw. The veg was perfectly done, the potatoes we divine and the steak (I upgraded to the ribeye) was one of the best steaks I have ever had, medium rare with really great charring. So full after all that food but there was still desert, peanut butter cup cheesecake with whip cream and a strawberry compote, so rich and delicious. This place is quality and class. We will be back. My lady was impressed ;)

Food was exceptionally well prepared. Perfect steak! Prices are on the high end side but worth the price of the chef. Complimentary dessert for our anniversary and visit from management was unexpected but so very pleasurable.

We are originally from the lower mainland where the Keg steakhouse and Bar rules. After trying this restaurant the Keg moves to second place. Outstanding

Food was less that mediocre. I asked for my salmon to be medium and it came out well, dried out and chewy almost as though it was microwaved. My colleague’s steak came out borderline raw. Mixed drink was also not good. Staff was very friendly and attentive, but food failed. I would not return or recommend.
