Come enjoy the first blooms of Spring at the special edition of the Drake Afternoon Tea featuring Chef’s spring inspired menu, sparkling mimosas upon arrival and live music to fill their air. Take a stroll around and see the Spring blossoms as they add new life and beauty to the Drake. Prices: $75/adults $30/children ages 4-10 (Tax and gratuity are not included in the price) Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the reservation. Late cancelations and no shows are subject to a fee of $25 per person in the reservation.

Independence Day starts early at the Drake on July 3rd with our special buffet and front row seats to the planned Oak Brook Fireworks display. The buffet features picnic favorites, ribs, burgers, salads, and other culinary treats to celebrate this special holiday. Dance to the live DJ or play a few rounds of cornhole and other lawn games. Top it all off with a good old fashioned ice cream social. Nothing says 4th of July like apple pie! (Buffet will take place rain or shine) Prices: $80/adults $35/kids 4-12 / 0-3 are free (Tax and gratuity are not included in the price) Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the event. My family and I had a wonderful time. The food was great the ambience was very elegant and lived up to the value of the cost. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating but one in particular was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond. Please be sure to let Patricia Gonzalez know that she made our experience extra special and it was very much appreciated.

Anna and her team are always amazing! They still remember our family from when we started coming 6 years ago. They make my grandmother feel like a queen! The food is always excellent and there is so much variety!

For the price, the food was good but the selection was just okay, the service was pretty good. Our table was extremely flimsy and wobbled every time we moved, flowers were being handed out but none were given to us. We spent $500 for this experience and I wouldn’t pay more than $50 a person at most to match the quality.

For the price and name rep, I expected a little better quality of food than what was served. A few of the desserts were dry and lacked flavor. The service was ok, but again, we expected more for it being affiliated w/the Drake. We had to remind our server for items we were missing from hot water to a sandwich. It was also unfortunate that our server dropped something that ended up splashing up and getting on 2 of our party members. There are other high tea businesses that I’ve been to before that stands out as a better experience than the one we had here at this Drake location.

a total ripoff at $80 a person. only one glass of champagne included, paltry and inelegant food, and the water for the tea wasn't even hot! The room itself was unattractive, extremely noisy, and had NONE of the advertised spring floral bouquets -- just some sad red roses at each table. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Our first afternoon tea at the Drake was schedule to celebrate my granddaughters 18 birthday. Our experience was fantastic. Great service, great food and wonderful tea and champy. Thanks for making it special.
