The name “Colombo” is the Italian form of “Colomba” the latin word for “dove”, which is the “Bird of Peace”. It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the every day occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions at our Italian restaurant.

Colombo’s Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the “gathering place”… truly a place that “welcomes everyone, every day… at any time” translating as “Benvenuti a tutti” in Italian, whereby the tried and true, centuries-old tradition of “all are welcome” prevails.

Everything was a quite good. Large portions. I had the burata and tomato salad with the small plate eggplant parm. Very good. Bread was crusty with a tender middle-perfect. Great choice off desserts. Had the pistachio martini for desseri highly recommended. Our waitress, Diana also recommended their toasted almond if we came in again. She was an excellent server. I would go again.

We have eaten a columbo many times, unfortunately this time our meals were not correct, and the staff did not really seem to care too much that they were wrong. Two people in my party ordered the homemade rigatoni, and what we received was ziti. Our server said that they ran out of rigatoni so they just used ziti. It would’ve been nice if they came to the table and asked us what we would like in place of the rigatoni . I’m hoping this was just a one off!!

We had a delightful and delicious dinner at Colombo’s last night. Aside from one Very loud group at the bar ( one incredibly loud woman in particular) everything was great!

Wide menu. The short rib ragu was out of this world. Homemadepappardelle was cooked perfectly. Limited selection of wines by the glass were mediocre. Desserts were abundant and excellent. Highly recommend.

Our waitress was amazing and the food was excellent as always. They were able to seat us early for our reservation. The noise level is loud but we expect that there. We have been numerous times and definitely will be back again. My only complaint is the 2.25% credit card charge. I know many businesses do this now however I feel it’s just bad business. It feels nickel and dime’ing.. just increase the prices. And in any business this is an expense that can be written off.

The food was a pleasant surprise the server was terrific! A terrible practice however of adding on a credit card charge when we were not even asked how we were paying., We paid cash had to ask to take fee off The only reason I knew to check this is because I had read reviews of other people!! Not sure I will come back

It is a go to restaurant for us for the last 14 or so years. I like the old set up of the dining room. I love the new bar area outside/inside though. Food is consistant, I just wish lunch pricing was a bit less expensive. Wait staff is always quite nice :). Thumbs up :) to Colombo’s.

Food was very good, and a nice variety available on the menu. Time to receive our food was annoying; we were there for at least 40 minutes before being served. (Granted we were there on Mother's Day, so it was crowded - but it had not been crowded when we were seated, so I really would have expected to have been served faster.) Waitress very pleasant. Wish we had more appetite, we would have sampled the very tempting pastries, but we were both quite full when we finished our entrees.
