FOOD: We started with the deviled eggs and crab fritters. Both were delicious. Bf got the fried chicken and I got shrimp & grits. The server warned me the shrimp & grits were spicy. Amazing, authentic Cajun-style seasoning, not hot at all but very flavorful. Would have preferred the tails to be off the shrimp, though. Chicken was crispy and juicy. Bf cleaned his plate (and mine). We ended with lemon pie, it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. DRINKS: Very impressed with the ratios in their cocktails. They obviously measured. Creative, inspired, and with fresh ingredients. Nice beer and wine list too. SERVICE: Good. Got an apology about it being so busy, but I thought she was well-timed. Gave bf drink recs which was nice. No complaints for a busy Friday night. AMBIANCE: Love the decor. Comfy booths with pillows. Clean, warm atmosphere. PARKING: We had an issue with validation. The hostess walked outside with us and tried the machine herself. Very nice of her. She said let her know if it doesn’t work when we pull out— we wound up just paying the $4, we weren’t bothered by it. Excellent customer service and not her fault it wasn’t working. Altogether very grateful a friend recommended this place. Keep doing what you’re doing. Bf already wants to go back.

We love the brunch options at Colleen's and visit frequently. Definitely try the breakfast biscuit sandwich and cocktails.

Our server was great I'm embarrassed I didn't get his name but we had the Cinco De Mayo Special Chef Tom's Chilaquiles and they were delicious.

the shrimp and grits is fabulous! the flavor is great and well-balanced. the drinks are tasty, nice ratios. the smoked fish dip has an excellent flavor. The chicken was dry in the pan roasted airline chicken, but had great seasoning and nice breading. Will definitely return!

Loved our brunch, however I did call the restaurant (to let them know we were running 7 min late to reservation and was put on hold. Held for 12 minutes and then they hung up on me. Otherwise everything was great!

We love all of the brunch items at Colleen's, specifically the breakfast biscuit! Perfect spot for our Easter brunch and they validate parking in the garage attached to the building.

Our 1st visit for Easter brunch. Great food & service. Loved coffee, strong & hot!!! Restaurant aesthetic absolutely up my alley. They also validate parking which is a plus. Will definitely come back, probably for lunch. Menu items looked very good.

I have been wanting to dine here and was thrilled I had the chance to. Brought my work team and we had a wonderful time. The service and food were EXCELLENT! Will definitely come again.

We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our meal. The staff was friendly and efficient, sitting outside was delightful and the food was very good! We will have Colleen’s on our list for regular visits. I encourage you to try it out. Based on our experience, I bet you’ll have a great experience!

First time going and went on a date there. Sat outside and our waiter (so sorry I don’t remember your name!) but he was SO kind and did great with suggestive selling and really giving us honesty around the meals and beverages. I would absolutely come back! The manager also made his round to check on tables and was very personable! And free parking! That’s a great bonus for this beautiful area.

Each visit to Colleen's is always extraordinary. Yesterday, I brought along some out-of-town friends eager for a new experience, and Jared's exceptional service and menu expertise made everyone feel comfortable when ordering.

Our new fave restaurant. Second time we’ve eaten there in a month and the food was superb both times and only thing we don’t like is the same thing we don’t like for most restaurants these days the noise level is so bad. It’s almost impossible to have a conversation. Prices are reasonable and affordable because there is a range of offerings and a range of prices. We had the grits which I didn’t think I would like and thought were fabulous. I had the butternut squash dish that was mouthwatering every bite. The bacon wrapped dates, fried green tomatoes and salmon dip were delicious. Thank you.

The chicken dish changed from one week to the next. It was really good the last time but this time is lacked. 2 breast pieces looked like a thigh and a breast and the second piece was a bit overdone. But I didn’t want it anyway since it was obviously dark meat. Anyway. Service was superb and ambiance was great. Don’t know why the chicken seem to be a bit of a disappointment this time.

It was a nice opportunity to get out of downtown Austin during SXSW. Food and drinks were great. Our server was very attentive.

I ate here for dinner and loved the food but when I returned for brunch, the food was NOT good. Burned, hard biscuits and runny gravy. I was disappointed. I’m do recommend the dinner menu.

I’ve eaten here many times before. This time it was super crowded due to festivals in the area and a farmer’s market. Most of the staff were as friendly as ever, and the food was delicious, as usual. We had the banana bread. I almost don’t want to tell you about it so that we can keep this all to ourselves. It was so good that several in my party wanted to order more to go. Other items we enjoyed were the burgers and breakfast plate. Oh, and the biscuits are to die for…..moist, light, and melt in your mouth. Now, I did not prefer our server, Cori. She was not very attentive to our party, yet was highly attentive to others. I had to call her to take our drink order, call her to order the food and she seemed put out whenever we asked for small things like ketchup or jam. If it were left to her, I would not return, but someone else brought out the food and they were good. The hosts at the door were good and the manager came out to check on us.

This is an absolutely wonderful place for brunch. They have very imaginative drinks in one of the best spicy, bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had don’t forget to try their grits.

Hadn’t been for years and it is still as delightful as I remembered. Love to see Colleen’s still in Austin. The whole team works well together. Very accommodating, very careful, great listening skills, they value you as a customer and the décor is lovely whether for brunch/lunch with friends, solo outdoor patio time, or date night!

Delicious food and a very cute restaurant. Our table agreed that the best things we ordered were the biscuits, the corn bread and the brussel sprouts (believe it or not!!). Service was excellent and the prices were pretty reasonable. Highly recommend!
