I was so excited to eat at Colette, and was unfortunately disappointed. The decor is lovely, the wait staff is very professional and attentive. The menu is a bit sparse and I was surprised to see so many winter meals (cassoulet for instance) on a summer menu. But we found things to order. People rave about the laminated brioche. It is basically a croissant but in a roll. It is tasty, but it is a bit heavy for dinner. The paté, which is one of my favorite things, lacked flavor. I was disappointed. The mushroom dish also had too much sauce and not a lot of flavor. The ravioles were not like the ones that I have had, many times, in the south of France. Very oily, the cheese was very mild. Again it was very much a winter meal. The burger and fries were enjoyed by my son. The fish (cod) was good. I enjoyed it, it would have been better with some roasted potatoes on the side or something other than the beurre blanc. But it was the best thing on the table. Wine choices by the glass were lacking. Dessert was good. Based on the price point ($330 for four of us including tip), I doubt we will return too soon. French Crust is up the street and always excellent, and Bar a Boeuf is our favorite French spot in town. Colette was just ok.

I do miss Zula, and I am pleased with Colette as a replacement. If they would only add mussels to the menu ;-). We particularly enjoyed the duck confit with cassoulet beans, the beet salad, the giant burger, and the steak frites. Our server, Cami, did a super job. Aaron fashioned mocktails for two of us, much appreciated old fashions for the others. The bread is the baby a muffin and a croissant would have. We will be back!

Been looking forward to dinner at Colette. We started with the beet salad and brioche, both were delicious. I had the steak and frites. $46 for fries and 5 slices of beef is a bit much. Partner had duck confit which he enjoyed. Ended with chocolate mousse. Service was great. Overall, great experience, but I’m just not rich enough.

Hits every time! Lively experience with 5 star food. Worth every penny. It’s noisy but feels energetic instead of annoying. My favorite spot in Cincy! Great food recommendations and service from Breslin. Kitchen staff was also super friendly.

Every facet of the experience was essentially perfect. Started with a cappacino which was from deeper roots beans. Excellently made. The waiter walked us through the entire menu and was very knowledgeable about every dish. The whole front of house team was great as you can see they work as a team to serve each customer. They are passionate their work and it shows. The food is a perfect combination of art and actually being delicious. You can clearly tell the care and expertise that went into it. Ambiance is elevated casual. One thing that did raise my eye brow was that there were some patrons in t shirt and flip flops. Usually places like this have a dress code. For a restaurant like this, I think they should encourage the proper attire. Can't wait to go again

Food and service were excellent. Our server, Cammy was attentive and friendly and did a great job managing our courses. Highly recommend the Vol-au-Vent, the roasted beet salad and the Icelandic cod. We tried most of the menu and those were our faves. Very nice experience.

We had a wonderful meal at Colette’s. Reservations on a Wednesday made weeks before was our date night out. Worth the wait.

We had a group of 12 for dinner. This was our first time at Colette. The entire group thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our waiter Luke, was outstanding. He explained the menu to us and answered our questions. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Highlights on the menu is the Brandade (salt cod dip), the laminated brioche (we would go for that alone), the ravioli, the steak & frites and the roasted mushrooms. The cocktails and the desserts were amazing!! Overall an outstanding dining experience!

The food was very good. The drinks highly overpriced. A glass of Rose was $17.50 which I think is truly too much. Decor is so so and the staff was ok but not great. All in all not bad but not outstanding.
