This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

Wine down Wednesday couldn’t beat the wine deal! I had the Asian chicken salad…..super yummy! Overall a nice time with my girlfriend to catch up in a peaceful atmosphere.

My husband said the Coldwater Burger was the best he’d had in a long time. The quiche was excellent like always and the strawberry jalepeno margarita was refreshing and delicious!

worth the drive for the best quiche! The chocolate mouse cake was Devine. The only frustration is the single bathroom. Can’t offer five dollar mimosas on Mother’s Day weekend and only have one restroom! lol

It will be hard to beat the Coldwater Cafe, as they excel in all directions, starting with drinks and ending with tea cake, and a whole lot in the middle.

We had a delicious meal with friends yesterday. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits with house made andouille. Others had the lobster crabcakes and pork roast. Great food! Great ambience.

Coldwater is a regular stop for us. We love the ambience and the food is always excellent! We ate outdoors on the covered patio with beautiful weather and great service. I highly recommend!

Our server Bethan took care of our every need with a smile. She never let our glass get low and always stopped to make sure all is well. Food was outstanding as well. We'll definitely be back and ask to sit in Bethan's area!!

Sat in the vault -very quiet with only 2 other couples at other tables. The food was delicious, bountiful and reasonably priced.

The perfect lunch spot for leisure, business, or celebratory dining. Every time I am in Tipp, I have to go! Coconut carrot soup, vegan street tacos, and carrot cake - delicious! Highly recommend. Great service, and friendly staff.

If you want the best burger COME HERE!! Most places cannot get the temp correct. Medium could mean still mooing or burnt to a crisp…. Coldwater has it down!!! Thanks Coldwater for being awesome!!

The food was delicious & the service was great! We each had salads that were wonderfully fresh with added salmon that was moist & full of flavor. The potato and leek soup needs to be a regular offering it was so good. Kelly, of course, always makes our experience enjoyable. Thanks!

The food and service were outstanding! I highly recommend the C-Cafe for any occasion. Chef Katy has put together an inspiring menu of well balanced tantalizing culinary delights. Prices are very reasonable including the wine list. (Cafe doesn’t put high margins on wine like most other establishments). Our server Kelly was slammed on a Saturday night but delivered great personal service without missing a beat! Anyone would be happy with the great service or the food but we got both!!

Zachary was our server and did an excellent job. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Always watched our table in case we needed something. Two of us had the pork ribeye. Very tender and the not so spicy jelly was a perfect glaze. Love the quant Tipp City. So nice to have an excellent restaurant downtown. Will go back again.

It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Steak was grilled to perfection. Ravioli was fresh. And Kelly, our server, was a superstar! Can't wait to go back. 😁

As always I love this restaurant something different from the normal chain eateries but I was very disappointed in the new seating arrangements in the dining room. Always liked the booths for a little privacy and comfort. Our lunch was nice and tasty I had the chicken salad sandwich with chips did not care for the house chips would have rather had fries or fruit. My sandwich tasted good at the time but later that day it came back to bit me I was sick for the rest of the day and into the night won't have that again. This experience won't stop me from returning but it might take awhile before I do. Please bring back the booths.
