This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    Always a wonderful experience and delicious food at Coldwater. I have never had a bad experience in 25 years of dining here.

    The salmon salad was the best I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection and the dressing was delicious! Will definitely come back!

    I have not been here in quite some time. The food was delicious. I got the Mussels and ribeye and washed it down with a smoked Old Fashioned. I can’t wait to do it again.

    We have made reservations for the past 2/3 years to celebrate wedding anniversaries and birthdays. Each time we get stuck back in the vault that has no atmosphere. It is crowded and 4 blank walls. You are going to have to do better if we choose to come again.

    Love this restaurant. The food is always really good. The service is excellent. We plan on making it a (at least) monthly event. It’s nice to be able to make lunch reservations, since it’s a long drive for us.

    Food and service are always exceptional. We discovered the crispy brussel sprout appetizer this visit. They were fantastic! The family also enjoyed the mussels, antelope, shrimp and grits and pork ribeye. Dishes are always well composed and this continues to be our favorite restaurant. All of the servers are professional and attentive but we especially enjoy Kelly, who goes out of her way to make it a perfect experience every time. We will be back soon to enjoy the outside dining!
