This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    Excellent food first of all. The experience was made even more special by our wait staff. Robin took care of us from beginning to end. She made excellent recommendations, knew the menu and very easy and fun to conversate with. She made our experience 100 times better!

    Another outstanding dining experience tonight! The food was amazing and the staff was awesome! Our waiter zach went above and beyond and he made the night extra special tonight. We really enjoy eating there, and also frequent the Bodega Market as well!

    As always the food was delicious. I really should try something other than the quiche, but is soo good. Generous portions of both quiche and fruit.

    Always consistent quality of food in a wonderful atmosphere. Madison was an excellent server.

    My wife and I love this restaurant. The ambiance is fabulous, the food equally so, with a lot of very interesting choices. Highly recommended!

    A trip to Coldwater Cafe is always a treat! The quiche was excellent and certainly enjoyed. The new dining area is very nice but sound does seem to get very loud. That is my only negative. We usually used the booths so we were sheltered from other tables. Three cheers to our waitress who watched our glasses of tea to refill on a regular basis. To the chefs and pastry chefs, fantastic job! I dream about how delicious the carrot cake is to eat! Until next time, thanks!

    This was not my first trip here, but when my wife and I were going to attend a concert in nearby Troy, it was the standout choice. I had made reservations when I bought the tickets some months ago. Thankfully, they send an email reminder the day before, as my wife was asking where we were going to eat. As per usual, the waitstaff was courteous and attentive, and the food was wonderful, starting with the mussels. For me these are a requirement anytime we eat here. If we get another appetizer, we will get the mussels, another appetizer and dessert. My wife calls this "going out for bookends". The grouper was fantastic, cooked to perfection, and my ribeye was also cooked to a precise medium-rare. (My only quibble: it could have used a little salt.) We split the creme brulee. It was spot-on perfect. We will definitely be back!
