Excellent service, food was amazing. Had the bavette with fries, cooked and marinated to perfection. Ample seating and nice decor.

Exceptional service. Like stepping back in time only without the racism or sexism of the 1950s.

The food is fine. It's not amazing value for its quality, but the restaurant is in a good location and it's acceptable for a night out. The service wait is long, with a long wait to find our server and her back was often towards us. We seemed to be the only table in the restaurant to not get bread for the table, but it would have been appreciated if we knew how long it would have taken to receive our order or how hard it would be to track down our server. The restaurant itself is very nice. The decor is charming, with a 1930s feel and an excellent location.

I’ve always wanted to try Cocotte and I finally did! I really loved the experience, the only draw back was getting charged more for an item on the Apéro menu. And the waitress we had, lovely, but told us we were wrong about the price and that I had ordered the wrong drink that wasn’t on the menu. I know what I read and we only had one menu! I’m glad that she went to double check the menu.

Rae, our server, was very good. She seated us in a quiet corner, as requested. She pointed out the food and drink specials in effect for happy hour. We had a delicious French onion soup accompanied by a green salad. Cocotte Bistro is an elegant space. We enjoyed our dining experience.

We were entertaining out-of-town guests, and chose Cocotte for its seemingly upscale menu. However, they were out of both rose wines that we tried to order. Also out of their "signature " onion soup. The steak was ordered medium rare, but arrived well-done. The frites seemed like re-heated frozen fries. The place was so loud, we were hard-pressed to have a conversation. The servers were well-intentioned, but not very adept. Mains arrived before salads. Of four meals ordered, only one was really acceptable, We were embarrassed.
