Coconut Thai in St Paul is one of our favorite restaurants, and we eat there often. The food and service are, without exception, outstanding. . Yesterday, my husband & I decided to try Coconut Thai in Edina. We probably never will go back. I ordered Stir-fried Vegetables with pork, and specified I could have no mushrooms. He ordered Pineapple Fried Rice with pork. My order came loaded with mushrooms, so was sent back and redone. When we received our food, though both entrees were beautiful and colorful, both were totally devoid of flavor. Though the ingredients were fresh and crisp, there literally was NO flavor in either dish. Both must have been prepared with no seasoning whatsoever. We both were disappointed, knowing firsthand how well-prepared and flavorful everything always has been at the Grand Ave location.

We enjoyed our food. Service was great. The price was reasonable considering today’s restaurant and food costs.

My new, favorite place. Food was so flavorful, hot and delicious. Large portions. Great value. Super clean and friendly service. Must try!

The food is always good here! I haven’t been for lunch before, but the experience is similar to dinner time, with all the same tasty food. I got the pineapple red curry with chicken. Delicious!

Always a great time for family dinner. Reservations help get a booth instead of table too.

We barely saw our server then we are expected to give a tip. Either not enough staff was called in or there are not enough employees. We love the food but last night the service was terrible.

This was my first visit to Coconut Thai and I will definitely return. Very nice menu choices and the well-prepared food was nicely presented. Service was pleasant and accommodating.

I was impressed. I read some reviews that made it sound like the food was not authentic Thai food. I found that to be absolutely wrong. The food was excellent. I love Joy's in Richfield and since they were closed, we tried Coconut Thai. I will be back again for sure and recommend it to anyone. Fantastic food, service and the atmosphere was perfect.
