It was very good food and excellent service. The weather was good so we had beach side seating.

The food was delicious but there was 0 ambience and the service was mediocre. Do not order a lemon drop martini 😷 Definitely not the place to go if you want a fun atmosphere and good vibes

The pictures make it look like a really fancy place that requires reservations, but it’s a decent hotel restaurant. Outside seating was ok but right below you is a pool so we just heard screaming kids for an hour. Food was mediocre not a lot of options. The grouper was good. Service was fine. I probably had better service and food at Red Robin. Save yourself a lot of money and go to a crab shack down the street.

It was okay. Service wasn’t terrible, but we were not a priority for the bartender who was our server. They didn’t have the ingredients for the watermelon cocktail I wanted, and the margarita tasted like orange juice. The view was nice. Just not what we expected.

When the reservation was made on Open Table it said only “one” 4:00pm time slot was left. As soon as I made the reservation the 4:00pm slot popped right back up with the same message only one left. Coconut Charlie’s opens at 4:00, no one was at the hostess stand until almost 4:10, and I believe that was only because at 4:05pm I started standing in front of the hostess stand instead of sitting across from it waiting for the hostess. The weirdest part is absolutely no one was in the restaurant, which we were expecting a full restaurant since only one time slot being 4:00 was available? So with this said we were seated at a two top like they were expecting the restaurant to fill up in the next five minutes! The restaurant had gained one more table at 5:00. So our restaurant experience: the bartender/waitress was pleasant, efficient and helpful. Remember we were the only table although she was making some drinks for the pool area. Our food was excellent! The restaurants name “Coconut Charlie’s” implies that decor would be fun, beach theme, etc.. Coconut Charlie’s decor is anything but. The bar stools and the green/white high top chairs and tables are close. But the rest as you look around is not Coconut fun at all. Hyatt really needs to revisit this restaurant’s decor or change the name to fit the decor. Especially for their guests who obviously aren’t using this restaurant.

It was a busy spring break week. The staff did amazing. Little bit of a wait for some things, but that was understandable. The food was delicious.
