AWFUL experience at this bar, never coming back nor do i recommend this place to anyone. two female “investors” of this bar kicked out an entire group of people after being confronted about occupying the male restroom for 10 min as multiple men waited in line. they were extremely unprofessional, foul, and discriminatory. due to the fact that they were “investors”, they got everyone kicked out although they were in the wrong. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR.

Love the vibe. My burger as burnt but it was still good. The staff is great but they were a little tied up this time. They were just busy though, not bad service.

We arrived at 11:15am w/o reservations. The bartender told us they only had the bar or the side edge seating available. She wasn’t rude, but she was not welcoming either. We asked for the empty table by the bar to which she said was reserved. We then found a reservation through Open Table for 11:30am to which she said it wasn’t always reliable and we probably wouldn’t get a table or we might have to wait until after noon. It felt as she wanted us to leave. Yet, we decided to wait. We were finally seated at the same table we had pointed out to. She said our server would be with us shortly. As we waited, we saw both ladies attending to all guests except to us. Those who arrived after us, received their drinks and food. After 30mins, it took one of us to walk up to the server to which she said, unapologetically, that the bartender would be the one serving us. We continued to give them the benefit of doubt throughout our visit. Unfortunately, it was clear that we were ignored. We were not welcomed, we were treated unfairly and we realized we were discriminated against.

Had a rough experience. Was so excited to come here for my sisters birthday. Our server legit seated us, took our order, brought our drinks and never came back. We ordered bottomless but requested they changed it because we asked for more drinks 3 times and never got them. The food wasn’t bad, but didn’t have a drink to wash anything down with lol. My husband ordered a sprite and legit got it twenty minutes after we received our food. The view was good and the place is sooo cute. If the service wasn’t absolute trash this place would be awesome. Definitely need some training or more staff. There weren’t a lot of people so it seemed manageable. When I told the staff that we were not receiving what we ordered the girl seemed to care less. Not worth the time or money.

Had delicious food and drinks while watching the sunset. It’s a little pricey, but so are all the other restaurants. Love the vibe and the ambience. They gave out free sunset shots, which was nice. I’d recommend checking it out.

The ambience at Cococabana is amazing. Unfortunately that was the best part . The food was horrible and we left the restaurant hungry on New Year’s Eve. Steak was fatty and overcooked and the shrimp was rubbery and chewy. I will go back because it’s close to where I live and I can walk to Cococabana. I will only get cocktails in the future! It’s very pricey and I feel like I work too hard for my money to waste it on subpar quality food.

Took well over 1,5 hours to get food and nobody was here. All Rap music. Limited table service no view of water. Really bad. Missed half of order. Disaster People asked us to order 3x and still forgot Terrible

It was fairly crowded and quite loud at 4:30pm on a Saturday. There only seemed to be one server for a large portion of the patio, so service was quite slow. We didn’t try the food, but drinks were good.

This is a fun place but only for drinks ! The food options were limited and with Oceanside being the up and coming Plant based capital of SD county they should have at least one vegan option. So definitely go for drinks and the sunset , but eat somewhere else.

The view and ambience were on point! The cocktails were incredible and well priced. We ordered the octopus ceviche and short ribs. I will definitely be going back.

This place is super cute ambiance but the service is SLOW and really unorganized. The food isn’t great and took 50 mins. No ones food comes out at the same time and there “brunch menu” is not really brunch so don’t go there if you’re wanting brunch.

We went for Taco Tuesday. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was outstanding, view of the city lights amazing. One friendly bartender to service the entire deck and you have to order food and drinks at the bar, which was not a problem for us. I would definitely recommend!

The prices of the food is very high for very little. The server told us that there was a 29% gratuity added which was nice, However it was a 25% added. Not cool!

Drinks were okay. We went on a Sunday afternoon and they didn't have half of the items on the menu. Our server told us that it was due to the fact that they got fresh shipments on Monday. It's an oyster bar. How old were the oysters we were eating? The food we did get was fine, however, and the servers were friendly and attentive.

Extremely overpriced. The drinks were watered down and gross. The portions of the food were laughable for the price and the service was really slow. After sitting there for over 30 minutes I had to get up and find someone so we could pay and go elsewhere. This was a one and done place for our group.

On the very short bar menu, there were a few items that they said they had sold out of on a Monday evening at 5:00 pm. Also, the mixed drink my wife ordered has barely any actual drink in it and the glass was mostly just filled with ice. When we asked the waiter to mention something to the bartender, he wasn't comfortable doing that.

Have been wanting to check this place out for a while. While I wasn’t thrilled with the quality of the food, particularly given the price, the ambiance was great and the drinks were pretty fantastic. Don’t go in expecting a great meal and be prepared to drop a pretty penny. I feel like if they worked on their menu a bit, this place could be great!

Food was just OK – very overpriced. Chicken skewers arrived, burnt to a crisp and very fatty. When water spilled on our table and dropped on the floor, the gentleman working wiped our table, but said “if you slip and fall on that water, it’s all on you!” A weird response, considering he could have throw a towel to clean up the water spill on the floor They also added an automatic 20% gratuity to our party of seven… We don’t normally tip the full 20% on the hefty portion of the alcohol bill. Two of the plastic wine glasses arrived unclean. Fun, atmosphere, and beautiful view .

We had so much fun at this rooftop spot. We had shots and cocktails. We will come back for the food as we didn’t order any food. The ambiance is great. Only thing I noticed was that they need a security to monitor guest’s safety because there was a altercation that happened by the bathroom and no security came to stop it. Overall, it was fun. We even spotted fireworks. It is a great spot for socialization with friends to enjoy great music. Will come back again soon.

Loved it. Has some birthday drinks with my friends and service was great, music was perfect, the vibe was right. All the drinks were beautiful and super tasty. Can’t wait to come back!

Cococabana called me 2 hrs before my reservation to inform me that they had a special event and that and their kitchen would be closed, but if I wanted to come in for a drink that I was welcome to come. I think a special event would have been on the schedule weeks in advance, and my reservation never been accepted. It ruined my bachelorette dinner/night out we had to scramble for another 8 party table. Rude!

Atmosphere was great. The food selection was minimal and the menus were so stained, you did not want to touch them. Would not recommend for a meal, only for a drink before heading somewhere else for dinner.

This was our first visit to Cococabana and we enjoyed celebrating our daughter’s bday there at happy hour. We all loved our drinks, and the pricing was great. Unfortunately, the only food being made while we were there was sliders, but we were OK as we had just eaten lunch elsewhere. For other people coming hungry, this might have been an issue. Views were fantastic. 5 star ambience. Attentive service from Rosa.

Very cool spot the but the service is always slow. I’m not sure why they don’t correctly staff this bar. It makes me feel sorry for the workers who are on and struggling to keep up with the service demand. The food is meh. Nothing special. I would recommend for a cocktail and that’s about it
