Very intersting menu with some very good options. Everything we had was fantastic and the service was great. This is a great place to come for dinner, very enjoyable.

Tonight my husband and I treated my Real Estate business partner and his husband to dinner at Coast. We were greeted by the kitchen staff as we walked by to our table by the window. Spring is coming and it was great to see so many friends walk by and wave. We were promptly greeted by Evan. He welcoming smile and offers to explain the specialty drink menu was helpful and we decided to try the Coast Old Fashioned made with premium tequila. I might add it was so tasty we decided to have a second. We all were in the mood for seafood/fresh fish. Evan suggest the tuna appetizer to start, the chef has combined so many wonderful flavors in this dish. We loved the crunchy capers and fruit with the tuna. Next we tried both seafood options. I enjoyed the scallops. What a perfect balance of textures, flavors and ingredients. We all complimented the staff on the food and great service! Certainly one of the best dinners we've had in Saugatuck and we dine out too much!

A wonderful dining experience last night in every way! Celebrating a birthday of a special close friend, and on our arrival there was a card for her at our table signed by the whole staff. What a nice touch! The ambience was awesome, too cool to use the attractive patio…… but soon, and the dining room was lovely. The menu was innovative, fresh and very delicious. The service could not have been any better, servers Jim and Tanna were simply outstanding; knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Well worth the drive up from St. Jos!

Celebrated my husband’s birthday with friends & wow, Coast 236 blew us away! The food, ambiance and our waiter (Jim) were phenomenal!! Cannot wait to come back soon :)

Easily one of the best restaurants in Michigan period. The service is 5 star the food is 5 star the ambiance is 5 star. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. You cannot go wrong with any food selection. but our personal favorite is the risotto and scallops. The staff was super attentive. Botton line well worth the price tag.

Excellent service! The salmon was prepared to my liking and complemented well with sauce. The crème brûlée was perfect ending to a delicious meal.

What a great dinner, me and my wife had the chef at this restaurant is exceptional. He changes the menu quite often. We can't wait to come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal, and enjoyed ourselves very much. It was our anniversary, and it was also New Year’s Eve. We had the multi course tasting menu. Every course was at least very good. When there was a tiny problem with one course, they made up for it with a little extra in the next course. I did wonder why they would feature potatoes in more than one course. However, both preparation’s for the potatoes were superb. The service was generally very attentive, and we appreciated it that the silverware was ready for the next course, instead of having to ask. At one point we did wait longer than expected for a refill of our tea. The ambience was pleasant, if not exactly what you would call elegant. I would recommend this place enthusiastically. I wish there were some way to give it 4.9 stars instead of having to choose between four or five.

The Duck was outstanding!!! It was perfectly cooked and an incredible sauce very much like a French cassoulet!!!

Delicious, elegant meal. Don't miss the mushroom baguette starter. Very good service and loved the ambience. No kids menu (not a complaint, just mentioning it).

Amazing service, outstanding food and wine. Ambiance was nice. There private tables are very cozy and quiet. The back room gets a little loud and has a lot of table in it. However they went out of there way to accomadte us. We will def be back

This is our second time dining at Coast 236. The food was exceptional, the portions were great, and the cocktails yummy. The first trip in we did the tasting menu and weren’t fans. Glad we came back for a second time. Server was efficient and did a great job, just wasn’t too friendly, didn’t detract from the experience. Will be back.

The restaurant feels like I’m in an art gallery, but in a good way. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing- ordered a few different dishes to share with the table, and loved all three (beef tenderloin, scallops and tuna crudo) will definitely be back!

Our Dinners were fabulous. We had scallops and salmon. Dessert was Lemom Creme Brûlée. Our server Brandon was knowledgeable and most helpful. The ambience was calm and peaceful; delightful.

Great experience! Our server, Jim was awesome. He was friendly and personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing. Everything had good flavors, and the portions were just the right size. Would definitely go back and will recommend to others!

Wonderful food. I’ve not eaten here for a long time. It has been inconsistent the past few years. Chef Rick was out front taking coats, visiting with patrons and supervising the kitchen. Bravo!

An amazing restaurant in Saugatuck, Michigan! Food, quality and service on par with some of the finest restaurants in Chicago and New York! But nowhere near the cost. We did the tasting menu, and every course was simply amazing!
