This was our first time dining at the restaurant. The Banana margarita & the brown sugar old-fashioned were awesome. We had the salmon dip for an appetizer & the coalition salad, which were both great. For our main course we had the Seabass & grouper & chips (great flavor, just wished batter was more flaky then greasy). Our server was attentive, but we shared it was our first time dining food suggestions would have been helpful. Will definitely visit restaurant again.

The primary server was helpful when ordering and friendly, however we ordered the salmon dip and I came with 6 small pieces of bread for 4 people. We asked for extra so that we could eat the dip, however the server forgot about it. The person who brought our meals dropped them on the table abruptly and almost dumped one plate into my nieces lap. My wife’s food did not come with the others and it took about 15 mins more to arrive. My NY strip was low quality beef. It seemed like it was the quality that order for fund raisers in the “steak boxes”. We used to love coalition but it seems to have declined significantly

Juan was our server and he was excellent. Been to Coalition in the past and it's a great restaurant. Little noisy but not too bad. Food is excellent and while it's not cheap it's a great dining experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink here.

Our server was Earl. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very pleasant. The food was very good and fresh. In particular, I liked the Oysters Rockefeller and Redfish. My wife ordered and enjoyed the spicy chicken bites and mushroom risotto.

Went with a group and someone else made reservations. Shocked at the menu prices. Would not go again.

The service was excellent. The food was just ok. The dirty rice was bland and so were the Brussels. Collards were good but it was mostly juice and barely any actual collards. Probably wouldn’t go back due to price.

It was a very nice atmosphere. Of course busy because it was Mother’s Day. The food was delicious. Good customer service.

Coalition is slowly becoming my local for a night out. I particularly like sitting on the patio on the street side. It's a great place for an evening out. I took my mom for Sunday Mother's Day and the service was slow. I mean very very slow. Our waiter was super and kept us up to date and explained. I understand when a kitchen is swamped, on one hand, but on the other hand, knowing how many reservations are booked and the fact it was a celebratory Sunday, I'd expect them to be a bit more prepared. In my opinion when there is a situation that can't be helped maybe management should be more hands on, offer guest that are waiting for over an hour for their main course a complimentary glass of wine, cocktail or any beverage. Maybe even dessert. This is the problem I had with the service on this particular day.

They didn’t have spoons so they gave us plastic spoons. They ran out because it was busy for Mother’s Day. Food was average at best.
