Coal Town Public House is a modern American grill located in the heart of Westhaven Town Center. Our diverse menu is comprised of elevated and unique takes on American cuisine, as well as a full service bar boasting a wide array of wine, beer and craft cocktails. The restaurant features a lush interior with high ceilings, stylish fixtures and plenty of natural light. Nestled against Magli Green, our retractable garage doors open completely to let in the sun, fresh air and views of the lake. The Public House will set the scene for you to enjoy a truly memorable dining experience with friends and family!

The staff has consistently been able to accommodate my son’s severe allergies! It has made for such a relaxing and pleasant family outing. And the live music was not blaring or loud. We could still carry on a conversation while appreciating the live cover songs in the background.

Great place. I only visit during nice weather so I can sit outside. But the inside looks nice, too. The good is good, the service is great, the prices are indicative of better food, but it surely isn't bad. Overall, I love Coal Town and I'll be back.

The experience was great as usual. We dined on the deck overlooking the lake for Sunday brunch. Amanda did a great job serving and checking on us.

What a great experience for our first time here! We were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and she was treated like a queen! The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious, served quickly and correctly, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We loved that they could open up the restaurant to the outside as the temperature allowed and they adjusted the doors while we were there as it got cooler. We will definitely be back!

Love Coal Town! The service and food is fantastic and I highly recommend! This is not a quiet date night spot, but we come back because it’s delicious and doesn’t break the bank! Last night I got the brisket dip and had the sweater weather sangria. Also got the hummus. *Chefs kiss* Again, it’s not a quiet spot, but upbeat and lively.

The food, service and special Easter menu was wonderful. My husband had Prime Rib, and he said it was very good! I had the biscuits and gravy brunch item which was amazing...the gravy was just like my mom's so I loved it!! Great service!!

It’s been a while since we’ve dined there but after viewing the menu we remarked about how few choices there were for dinner. After visiting with some friends on our way out, we realized we’ve been given the lunch menu instead of the dinner menu. We would’ve ordered more food at higher prices had we known they were available. Unfortunate.

During our visit we were promptly seated upon arrival, thanks to our reservation with OpenTable. Our waitress was attentive from greeting through departure. Our glasses were never empty. The food came out in a timely fashion and was delicious. Our only issue was that in the section we were in, the seating for our table of two was closely placed between two tables of four. This would not have been an issue if the family to one side had made their children behave a bit better, but that is not the fault of the Public House except for on the closeness of the seating. I would still eat here again and I would recommend the Coal Town Public House to friends looking for a nice evening out, but maybe not to families with young children.

Good food, great service, fun atmosphere. Everything came out of the kitchen quickly but we never felt rushed. Drinks were a little pricey. Flatbread was great. Burger was good. Duck fat fries with truffle oil were super.

I like that Coal Town Public House is nice without feeling fancy- we can still go casual and have a great dinner. Love it for date night or meeting a group for apps. Lots of great options.

Never a bad meal! And the service is always spot on! Such a fun, yet upscale atmosphere. Great for families with kids of all ages, couples, or a girls night! This is our go-to spot!

I have been here twice and both times the service and the food were really awesome. Last night they had live music. When he first came in, I thought it was going to be so loud that it would interfere with the conversation. But actually, it was perfect. He was great!

I thought it was a nice restaurant. People next to us in sweatpants and cut off shirts, so I felt way way over dressed in a skirt and top

First time eating at Coal Town Public House and I was quite pleased. Celebrated a friend’s birthday and it was a great experience. Our server was great! Loved the variety of food choices and they even had a gluten free bun available. Our dessert was that day’s cheesecake, which was amazing! In all a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
