Clonakilla Cellar Door

Wine tastings are seated and complimentary, seven days a week.

Although not always necessary, bookings are highly recommended especially on weekends.

Groups are capped at eight people and tasting flights usually take an hour.

Our cellar door is the place to go if you'd like to have a taste of our current wines. You may even be able to try a few back vintage treats that are open. Never hurts to ask! Tastings are conducted seated around tables, at our bar or, if the weather is to your liking, outdoors on our patio area where you get clear views of our Riesling vineyards.

Thank you so much to the Clonakilla team - they helped us film our proposal (in secret) and gave us an express tasting so we could make the lunch reservation. The team we're absolutely lovely and we have a great memory. The O'Riada Shiraz is amazing and good value.

We came to Clonakilla for a wine tasting only And enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful setting , attentive staff with impressive wine making knowledge .

Dropped in for a wine tasting with our dog. They were able to accommodate us on the patio which had a lovely outlook to the vines. Staff were very knowledgeable and allowed you to enjoy your time in the sunshine. A must visit to taste some very famous wines - especially if you’ve flown qantas first class before.

It was a tasting of museum wines so ignore the rating for food - something had to go there though. The winery tour was fantastic and highly informative. Rob was so knowledgeable and enthusiastically presented the workings of the winery from the grapes in the field through to the new bottling machine. The wines tasted were true gems. So lucky to have a chance to try such a range of vintages and have a great explanation of them while doing so. Very glad to have found this offering. I highly recommend it.

Great place to book in advance for wine tasting. Note that there is no food served at this winery when tasting.

Very enjoyable experience, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on the Clonakilla range, also very easy to chat to. Wines were delicious

Sensational Wines- amazing cellar Door - Outstanding and Friendly service. After your tasting head to Four Winds Winery for wood fired pizza.

Great experience considering everything was free of cost. Was lovely to learn about the wines and to understand how Clonakilla approaches winemaking. Gave 1 star rating for food as the winery doesn't offer food (which was communicated from the start so no issues there). A great way to spend an hour in the Canberra wine district.
