I took my Great Auntie Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch. The appetizer buffet food was excellent, but for some odd reason, it was extremely dimly lit. Other patrons commented on how dark it was and that it was hard to see what was laid out. We ordered the Crab cake entree which was very dry inside. It was inedible. Neither of us finished it. The dessert buffet looked beautiful, but the dessert themselves lacked any flavor. They added an automatic gratuity of 18 percent. The service was not good. No one came to take our drink order. I normally order bottles of sparkling water, but they served us tap water without asking us for our preference. I would have ordered a cocktail, but no one came to ask if we wanted any drinks. I had to flag down a server to get an orange juice for my Auntie. They were very slow to clear dirty buffet plates. The Mothers Day Flowers was a lovely treat for Mothers Day. We attended the Christmas Day Brunch and everything was so much better.

We are regulars, and have been going to Clement on special occasions for years. The overall experience was ok, but the choice of food especially on the buffet area was very minimal. Very few choices and for the amount of money charged, very far from worth it. Also the service was not to the standard that we have received in the past. Continuously asking the waiters to fill up our empty glasses of water, and us personally removing our empty plates after returning from the buffet table with refills etc... not what we're used to at this level of dining. The quality of food was good, but very little to choose from. Very disappointed.

Highly recommend this place. The host and servers are amazing and the food is top notch, compensating the dated (but nice) decor. Plus the view of the Fifth is great. Peninsula is under going a major update. Can’t wait to see the completed version.

I was looking forward to returning to this special spot which I have been to for both breakfast and lunch after staying at the peninsula. Overall, it was fine, but not as special as I remember. I was the last lunch seating (2pm), and I really felt rushed to eat my lunch and be done which was unfortunate. I really just wanted to enjoy my champagne, But they brought my lunch out immediately after serving my fizz. For that price, I should not feel rushed to drink, eat and settle up. I was even told they wanted to Let the staff check out. They probably should stop taking Reservations at 2 pm if they’re so quick to get guests out.

Everything was just great. Recognition from the staff for my wife’s birthday was special. The menu was limited but excellent for a Sunday brunch. Loved it. Well done Mario and team.

We had the steak and eggs for breakfast, and the food was very tasty and delicious. The bread was fresh and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. We had a great view from the table called 'table 51' overlooking 5th Avenue. Our waiter was very professional which we double tipped because of his great service. This is our 2nd time going there and we're planning to go back again and again.

Actual restaurant is being renovated right now, so was unaware we were going to be stuck in a conference room and still charged the same price. Not worth it.
