Delicious food at good prices. Excellent, attentive service. Hate to say it, but almost too many items to choose from on the menu. We'll definitely be back, to dine in or to carry out!

Really amazing food. If you go for lunch, go early as they close at 2:30 and cear the restaurant. They reopen later for dinner.

Despite the humdrum name that touches on every Indian restaurant cliche -- Clay Oven Tandoor Indian Grill serves exquisite food of great complexity that compares favorably with the creations I've enjoyed at some of India's finest restaurants! Do yourself a favor: set aside an evening with friends (or simply with a loved one) to experience culinary greatness, preferably on a less-crowded weeknight. Former long-time Chicago Magazine restaurant reviewer.

What a hidden gem! Great food and a nice family that runs it. Certainly worth making the drive from Lake Forest.

We've tried a variety of appetizers, breads and entrees the many times we have eaten at ClayOven Tandoor and all have been wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful without hovering over the table.

We had chicken tandoori, lamb vindaloo, nan bread, samosas, a bottle of Indian wine, and one other vegetarian dish (forgot the name). Everything was excellent from beginning to end. If you're looking for authentic Indian this is a great place to go to.
