Clark's Aspen is the 2nd location of McGuire Moorman's popular neighborhood oyster bar set in the historic & beloved former Little Annie's location. The Clark's team has worked to uphold much of the charm of the previous tenant including fully restoring it's oak bar. The restaurant also features a bustling open kitchen and alpine version of Clark's dock side aesthetic.

The food and service were both fantastic. We had oysters, crudo plate, linguini with clams, snapper and the crab Mac n cheese. All were delicious. The crudo and snapper were stand-outs. We will be back on our next trip to Aspen.

My wife and I had a nice booth at 8:30 last Friday. Friendly staff that includes a head server, bus & water person and others helping out. It has a casual upscale bistro feel and a nice buzz. We shared a variety of 12 oysters from Washington and BC that were fantastic. We eat a lot of oysters and we had never heard these names which made it fun. The cocktails were strong and well made. We split a bib salad that was plenty for two and very good. She had the crab cake and I had the crispy red snapper. Both dishes were well prepared and tasted great. If you look carefully you can find a bottle of wine that won’t kill your vacation budget. We had a 2021 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir that paired well with main dishes. We forgot to order the shoestring fries so we did towards the end of the meal. They brought them right out! My only complaint is they could have been a little thicker and greasier. These were good but hair thin and dry which are good for mopping up the sauce from your entrée.

We arrived a little early for a 6:30 reservation. I felt we were rushed through the meal. We ordered a cup clam chowder, crab cake and linguine with clams. Our cocktails arrived at the same time as the chowder. The crab cake was really good. The other items with the exception of the very tasty bread were average and did not meet expectations. The restaurant was on the loud side. Not sure we would visit again.

Food was absolutely delicious. The steak tartar was melt in your mouth and I’ll be thinking about it for the next month. The service was fast and even though it was busy, it had great ambience. Next time we are in Aspen, we will be back!

We have now been to Clark’s in Austin, Houston and now Aspen. Pleased each time. We are a fan of the wine selection and variety of oysters to choose from. Aspen has the best weather in the Summer, so it was truly a great overall experience.
