Depending on the season and it can get noisy in there but the food is always consistently good and the service is always good.

This is a fun place to watch a game and it did not disappoint. The food is tasty and they have an extensive beer list so you are sure to find something you like.

They claim 30+ beers on tap yet we sent 4 different beers back because they were all flat. Didn’t matter what beer you ordered all were flat and slightly warm. Second time this has happened, both visits disappointing. Likely won’t return again.

Arrived at 7pm and added name to waitlist. Was told it was a “35 min wait”; by 7:45pm we were still 7th on the waitlist. We decided to go home and wait to be texted. My boyfriend makes a reservation at 8pm for 8:15 at a high-top. We show up at 8:15 and have to wait 10 more minutes to be seated and 10 more minutes to get our order in. I never did get off the waitlist by the time 8:15pm rolled around; was still 2nd. Service was poor. I know it’s a Friday night, but we had to go to the bar to get another drink because by 9:30 our waiter was nowhere to be found and wanted a 2nd round of drinks.

I eat here very often, 2-3 times a month. Last night wasn't one of the best. Food took a while to come out and when it did it was room temperature and my burger was a bit well done.

Pleasantly surprised! Very family friendly! Excellent house salad and burger. I wish they had sweet potato or truffle fries. I will be back and will recommend this place.

We had very good service and drinks, that is the only reason for 2 stars. The food was horrible. Dried out chicken sandwich, inedible meatloaf, and well done, over seasoned tuna.

First time and it was very good! Burgers cooked well and service was great. I would come back but wouldn’t be dying to come here have had places like this with better food but it’s good if you are in the area. The aesthetic of the restaurant is nice, big place.

My 3-person party was literally the first seated customers for brunch, followed eventually by 2-3 small parties. In other words, it was not busy. Yet, our uncomplicated brunch orders took way too long to come out considering the aforementioned. Also observed our server hanging out in the service alcoves staring down at his mobile phone at length instead of checking on his tables. Also noticed the manager at the bar on her mobile phone as well. Was just a lackluster service vibe, sorry. Either be more discreet about it to maintain professional appearances or do a better job and stay off your device when you’re on the clock with tables to take care of. Please.

Space: 1st time and this is a place I will return to. It is larger than I thought it would be and feels spacious despite the lure of a holiday [Valentines Night] full crowd. This place fits for really most types of night: date night, dinner w/ pals, office happy hour. It combines the feel of a sports bar with the ambience of a nice restaurant that is unpretentious. Can we talk about the tvs? If you cannot see the tvs from ANYWHERE you sit, that is definitely a "you" problem, because I do not think there is a bad seat in the house. Food: Yum.Yum and also Yum. Kung Pao Cauliflower-Yaaas!! If I can suggest asking for a side of rice with this because it was devastating to see the server remove our bowl with a sea of sauce still remaining. I am still sad, days later, that I did not ask to take the remainder home. Forget Franks RedHot, this needs to be put on EVERYTHING. My grilled cheese [w/brisket] was so tasty and the BBq onion relish...if CW ever decides to sell these sauces retail/at the bar, please put me on a list! I asked for no fries and recv'd them anyway, which was the only disappointing aspect as the qty was fit for a kids meal. My pal ordered the Chix sandwhich, which looked so pristine, it looked like fake food. Our drinks, Burnt Orange OF & he ordered Peach something...it tasted like summer in a glass. My OF was tasty, though both were not garnished similarly, which is bizarre since this is a classic cocktail. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and the illuminated magical arch we walked through, while not necessary, was magical! I cannot wait to go back for the duck nachos!! Beer selection is also worth taking a gander at!

A Saturday night staple for myself and my friends. A classic sports bar and restaurant with a menu for the more elegant taste buds. I don't drink alcohol but I've heard their microbrews and drinks are good too

I loved the ambience! The food was great and service was even better. Everything came out on time. Lots of free parking. I went there with my work colleagues- a party of 3 and we are most definitely going back.

We had our reservation and arrived on time but still they made us waited for almost 40 minutes - we had a kid under 4yo with us and we were they to celebrate his mom’s birthday. Not a very good experience.

Beer selection is great, lots of choices. Food was good overall. The music was loud, just barely able to have a conversation. That was disappointing as we like the restaurant. Will have to consider going somewhere else next time if the restaurant isn’t able to moderate the volume on the music. We want to enjoy the beer/food AND talk with our friends!

I recommend avoiding ordering onion rings. Got them with a burger which was great. “Onion rings” were actually a little pile of fried pieces of partial rings.

Came for their cheese curds and they did not disappoint! Grilled chicken sandwich was also tasty and the side of fries were the perfect amount of crispiness. Could see my server checking on my dining experience from afar and was Johnny On The Spot when my water glass approached empty or had completed dishes ready for clearance. Most of all, there was a brief period when City Works switched from a reservation system to a stupid waitlist process. Was glad to see that they resumed the reservation system!

If you like pub food, and I do this is the place to go. Not much for those on a diet, but plenty for the rest of us. Service is great and there's plenty of room.

We periodically hold a team meeting at Sunday brunch. City Works has been a great location to gather. We have a table somewhat separate that is perfect for 6 -8 people. The food is excellent with generous portions. The service is efficient and pleasant. Our waiter checked in frequently (but not intrusive) to be sure we had all our needs met.

Always great food here! We had a reservation (definitely need one for a Friday night here) and the staff was quick to get us to our table. Service was good and food came pretty fast despite it being busy.

The server was cold & indifferent and after going back and forth several times because they were out of a lot of things, I got the pork chop which was tough and came out with a gross, sticky, too sweet sauce. I tried to eat it but ended up sending it back because it was just gross and I never send food back. This is second time here and I won’t come back unless it’s with friends who absolutely want to try the place.

A very good selection of burgers, sandwiches, barbecue, salads and other pub food, and an insanely large list of beers on tap. Service is fine, the space is big, airy and busy, but not chaotic. I’ll go back!

We live this place the food and service are usually very good but this last time was not as usual. Food took longer than expected, poached egg was fully cooked and with a lime taste ( or vinagre). Our waiter while nice was never around.

As always, the place is one of my favorite. Sometimes, while still delicious the food is not excellent. It's good, I keep going but the fries weren't hot and the roll to my sandwich either . With NO microwave on sight, reheating is difficult. No microwave is a good thing though

For a casual meal with excellent food, and creative cocktails, I would recommend City Works. It's a large space, with many screens and a noisy atmosphere, but the food is really good. Excellent choice for families with kids. City Works knows how to perfectly cook red meat, and the cocktails were a solid 5 stars.
