Enjoyed a lovely Sunday evening get together at CI Pizza. I ordered their special Sunday dinner which was both bountiful and delicious as well as a great value. House salad and garlic bread accompanied pasta with Sunday red sauce and meatballs and sausage. Very generous portions had me fortunate in taking some home to enjoy another day. My friend enjoyed their Onion soup and one of their creative appetizers. A nice selection of wines and all served by a friendly and welcoming staff. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Back again and just as good. The owner and staff are just super nice people and this is a place that makes you feel at home. Food was amazing again, especially the short rib pasta special. Will be back again soon!

We’re big fans of this restaurant so when they announced lunch of course we had to be there for the first one! The food was amazing! We ordered the eggs in purgatory and the steak & eggs. Absolutely delicious!!

We were there to celebrate my 78th birthday. Everything was excellent, including imaginative and well prepared food, fair prices and nice wine list (it didn't hurt that we just happened to hit 50% wine Wednesday!), and delicious desserts. The owner welcomed us and spent some time explaining some of the dishes. It was a first time visit for us and I now place them at Number 1 on the City Island restaurant hit parade! We will be back.

My wife and I went there for Sunday gravy. It reminded me of the time when we went to dinner with grandma. The salad was fresh and very tasty and the meatballs and sausage were delicious. We had the Pinot noir with dinner which really hit the spot

We love City Island Pizza. The food is always fresh, reasonably priced (we ordered the Sunday pasta special, a great deal.) The staff is SO friendly and helpful. And....I left my credit card there by accident and they bothered to track me down on Facebook. Above and beyond!

The carbonara was absolutely ridiculously good, it’s worth coming for that alone. Local in house sausage, a great steak dish, the pizza is solid. There’s something for everyone at a reasonable price point. I would recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing evening to have drinks and quality food with loved ones.

We had done take out but this was our first time dining in. Overall a really great experience. The arancini is my favorite! We also had the polenta fries for the first time delicious!! Also had the pepperoni pizza which was more than enough food & we took home leftovers. Our waitress was very attentive & also fun to chat with.

We went shortly after they opened for a sit down meal. The service was great and the food was even better. We had the rice balls, hot chili pizza, bucatini and lasagna. All was delicious -- especially which was hot (in a good way!). For dessert, we had the cannoli and tiramisu ice cream, both satisfying. Great portions for the price. We are looking forward to going again and trying the other options.

Italian food done right, had an amazing eggplant parm and we had a superb chicken parm, pizza was simple fresh ingredients and a nice crispy crust, we will be back

Such a great meal last night! The pizza is absolutely delicious- great crust and sauce. We got the meatballs and my toddlers devoured them. The Chicken scarp was a big portion and had just the right amount of spice- so comforting and unique. Great bottle of chianti and great service. We’ll be back very soon. City Island needed a place just like this!

Place was very nice, food was very good. Delicious looking menu wish we could have ordered everything. Pizza was bomb!! We had margherita pie 😋 it was one of the first nights of opening still working out the kinks. I would go back for sure.

We were there for the grand opening. Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. As soon as we sat we were greeted and a drink order was taken. The timing for each of the courses was perfect and the food was delicious(margarita pizza was excellent) and they offer a nice selection of quality wines for both by the glass and by the bottle. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food.

Opening night was wonderful. Very attentive hosts and staff, excellent service. The sausage pigs in a blanket, Caesar salad and pepperoni pie were all excellent. Place looks great!

We finally have a high end restaurant that seems like I am eating in manhattan New York. The service was quick the staff was well versed in telling us about the food I cannot wait till we go back Joegee

Great new addition to the City Island restaurant scene. Our party of four was there for opening night and really enjoyed the evening. From the staffs warm welcome at arrival to the delicious food it was a great experience. To start we ordered both their Caesar and Arugula salads which were generous to share around and an order of Polenta fries, yum yum. Don't miss out on the sausage and broccoli rabe pizza it was outstanding, also high praise for their eggplant. Looking forward to our next visit.
