At City House in Nashville, TN, James Beard Award winning Chef Tandy Wilson makes an amazing array of dishes to pair up with the enormous array of artisan cocktails, wine and bourbon or whiskey choices available. A popular Sunday Supper gives a unique dining experience, but many come for the regular dinner menu.

The dinner choices at City House include starters like frico, sock sausage, and olives. There are handmade pizzas with traditional toppings and more Southern inspired choices like belly ham or kale. Pretty average Italian food. The food is not worth the price at all. The portions are small. Service was okay. We had to sit at a community table with another couple on our anniversary dinner. Limited menu so check before you go.

City House remains (for me) the most consistently delicious experience in Nashville. It’s a treasure to be protected at all costs!

This review is a little complicated by this being our first visit and it being a Friday evening. First, we really enjoyed our food. The small plates that we shared were creative and delicious. I would never have imagined that a peach pizza would work so well! And we loved sitting on their screened porch because I suspect our elder ears would not have been happy with the noice level inside. It was a perfect evening for being “outside.” Our server was helpful and very pleasant but there was a long time gap between appetizers and main course. That did not mar our experience badly but must be noted.

I had a truly exceptional experience at City House. The rigatoni was fantastic! Lily provided a very friendly and attentive service. I will definitely return whenever I’m back in Nashville!

Amazing place that never disappoints. The pizza is perfect and veggie sides/salads are always fresh and delicious. Our group of 7 shared 4 desserts and we all wanted more! We can’t wait to go back. If City House was in Charleston I would be there weekly.

Such a little gem in Germantown! This was our first time dining at City House and it did not disappoint. Such great laid back cool atmosphere. From the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we walked out, the service was fantastic. Everyone had great energy. The foods was family style and excellent. I highly recommend the City House.
