Family owned and operated since 1993, Citizen Kane's Steakhouse is a cut above the rest. Located in a turn-of-the-century Victorian home, the restaurant is dedicated to impeccable service and exceptional cuisine, creating a casual yet upscale atmosphere to that effect. Citizen Kane's has a mouthwatering selection of steaks. Enjoy tenderloin medallions, the Delmonico ribeye or a classic New York strip. Every entrée is accompanied by soup de jour or Kane's Rosebud salad and housemade Mayfair or vinaigrette dressing.

The food was excellent. The service was good, started off a little slow on getting a drink. The salad and food came out quickly. I would go back there again.

The overall service was fine. However, it did take a very long time to order then receive our food. We were placed in a very small room with a VERY loud four top table next to us. It’s not the restaurants fault that they were loud and obnoxious but it certainly didn’t help with our experience. The steaks were cooked correctly and tasted good but the overall experience wasn’t there for me. I was excited to take my son out for a great steak and a cool experience but I can say that I was disappointed overall.

Service (Lindsay) was top notch! Food was great too! We had the chicken Xanadu, salmon and daily special! Good stuff! Oh had a mouth watering brownie for my wife’s birthday!

Amazing meal. Top steakhouse in St. Louis. I recommend the ribeye cooked “Pittsburgh” style. It will be one of the best steaks you have ever eaten.

Perfectly med rare strip steak for me and equally well prepared filet for my wife. Excellent garlic mashed potatoes. Kit did a great job taking care of us and our friends. Best steak in St Louis.

Awesome place. Great food and excellent service. Expensive but a nice place to celebrate a big occasion like a birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.
