Welcome to Cinco Nino's Modern Mexican & Tequileria, we are located on the 1st floor of the resort adjacent to Great Karoo, Baobab Social and our newly renovated outdoor waterpark! Inside you will find a variety of Tacos, Tequila and a newly updated menu just in time for the 2024 Spring and Summer Season. Each guest is welcome in our open bar floor plan, along with indoor and outdoor seating. Please come and join us, as we provide you with product and services beyond expectations!

Food was really delicious. Service was slow. We had to ask for things like silverware and salad dressing multiple times. Would have gotten a second drink, but the first one didn’t even come out until we were almost finished eating. The server said the bar was backed up, but my friends “frozen” margarita was not really frozen anymore when she got it. I’d go back, just because the food was really that good, maybe it was just an off night

Jalepeno poppers were good. Fajitas were meh. Drinks were pretty good but took forever. Cost was high.

Value of food vs money was not really there. It seems too expensive for the quality. My daughter’s cheese quesadillas came with a hair on it, and we had to get a replacement. My wife’s chicken fajitas were undercooked.

To begin with the host was VERY RUDE! Left me talking to myself, didn't seat us or give us menus.. Other than that the food was really good.. Our waiter was very polite and friendly but our drinks took forever.. Overall good place but bcs of that host we won't dine there again!

Food was terrible. Chips, salsa and guacamole were good. We asked for unseasoned fries for my son’s meal and they messed up the order. When we asked for unseasoned fries they charged us an additional $4. Def won’t be back to this restaurant during our future stays .

We sat near the bar. Ashley and Nayla took exceptional care of us. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. We will be back.

Place looks cute and the chips/queso/salsa were good. That’s it…like really, that’s it. Food is not good. Everything was cheaply made. Flavors are bland. Service was slow and no one seemed to know where food was supposed to go. We were asked 5 times if other food was ours, even bringing a whole tray of food while we were still eating. They all seemed lost and our meal order was even right. Pick somewhere else to eat!

The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, and we had a friendly and helpful server. Our visit started out well, where we thought the chips, salsa, queso, and drinks were all very good. Then we got our entrees and we were all super disappointed. It looked and tasted like pre-made/reheated food. The steak quesadillas were particularly bad - barely any filling inside and I'm not even sure if the meat was even steak. The portion was very small for the price, and the enchiladas weren't much better. It was disappointing because the restaurant was great in all other aspects, but the food was just not good.

Our servers and food were awesome! My only drawback was the hostess. We had a reservation at 730 and arrived 7 minutes early. She said she wasn't going to seat us yet because it wasn't time.. so I get it. But then she waited until after 730 to "get the table ready" and seat us. Do it early, do it on time, but don't so it late. Especially when you're not flexible about reservations, in general.

restaurant was not busy, in fact we had the backroom to ourselves on a Saturday at dinner time. their salsa was more mild that we are use to and food came out hot but bland for mexican food.

The grilled steak fajitas we ordered were dry and old. Looks like it was not freshly cooked but we still ate them since we were so hungry and no time to complain. We told our server about it.

The service was great, very nice waitress and she was very attentive. The atmosphere and style/decorations were great. Very vibrant and plenty of space. The food was only so so. We had two plates of enchiladas and they were cold. The red sauce was also strange, very heavy on tomato, almost borderline ketchupy and not like most Mexican restaurants Roja sauce. She said the green sauce was ‘very spicy’ but it wasn’t at all. The best part was probably the warm chips and the queso we ordered. We don’t plan to visit again though.

This is a mixed review because the food and drinks were great, but the service was terrible. If I’m going to pay $200 for a meal with my family of five I expect good service. I should not have to ask multiple times for more chips or salsa at a Mexican restaurant. Also, we were required to have a reservation and when we arrived 30 minutes early we were told to wait and the restaurant was not packed and there were plenty of open tables. I would return because of the food but hope they fix the service problems.
