We went to the upstairs patio first and had a nice time. Our server was very charming. We then went back downstairs and had another very enjoyable experience. Food was very good as was the service.

The service was average but the server was very friendly. The food was good but not inspired. For example the calamari was tender but not flavorful and the dipping sauce was an average marinara and lacked a kick and brightness. The fig pizza was very tasty and the clam fettuccine was also well prepared. Overall a good evening but the experience could have been even better with some effort.

Service was slow. Caesar salad came after entrees. Pasta dishes were lukewarm to cold. We asked to warm them up and Eggplant Parmesan came back cold again. Server removed from bill but didn’t apologize or do anything to address it. Overrated, unimpressed, underwhelmed.

What a fabulous restaurant! Our family met in the area to celebrate a late Mother’s Day weekend. Local family member recommended we dine there. Such a fantastic experience. Perfect food, terrific server, beautiful setting. Thanks for the memories

The pasta in oil and shrimp was delicious! My husband had the four cheese ravioli and he liked it a lot. The bread was very dense and needs to come in warmer.

Great food and drinks. Love the variety available on the menu. The ambiance was great as well. Some areas were secluded and likely much quieter than other areas. We sat in bar area and were very impressed with the service. Food was hot, fresh, and extremely tasty. Get the Gnocchi…so good.

We were very excited to try Cielo as we are new to Atascadero from San Diego and this was the first fine dining experience we have had in town. We were not greeted within 10 minutes, our drinks (Diet Coke and a mocktail) took over 20 minutes to get to our table and we had to remind our server Phoenix to get them out to us and refill when all of our glasses (even water) were empty. The service was terrible even though our server was closing out her other tables and was mostly in the back of the house while we waited to order an appetizer and our entrees for 25 minutes. Upon finally ordering at 8:10 (our reservation was for 7:45), we were informed that they had “just sold” the last appetizer that we had ordered (the fonduta) and we ended up just ordering entrees at that point because we were hungry and getting impatient. The food itself was amazing and impressive, I loved their fresh bread and olive oil vinegar plate that came complimentary with Parmesan cheese. I ordered the Lobster Risotto which was cooked perfectly and prepared with a delicious seasoning, although I thought the risotto portion was a bit small for the $45 price tag it was also delicious. My finance ordered a pizza with pineapple and pork belly, which he enjoyed but stated the pork belly itself was overcooked. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food, but I think our experience was diminished by the pace of service and lack of attentiveness given by the waitstaff. Maybe it was because they sat us at the back of the restaurant so she forgot about our table, but still it was my first Mother’s Day as a mom to be (I’m 6 months pregnant) and I expected better service when we were there to enjoy our first night out.

The food was amazing! I am definitely going back. We sat on the patio and it was nice. It was a little loud at times with the traffic going by but still very nice. Overall excellent.
