Ciclo (Spanish for "cycle") is a modern Texas kitchen featuring locally inspired flavors with a Latin influence, brought to life through a unique collaboration between Chef de Cuisine James Flowers and world-renowned chef and restaurateur, Richard Sandoval. Ciclo's name reflects its focus on menu offerings that change seasonally, from ceviches, crudos and grilled and smoked meats to inventive cocktails crafted by award-winning bartender Sarah Rahl.

In addition to its ever-changing dinner menu, Ciclo serves breakfast, lunch and brunch, with all menus providing gluten-free and vegan options.

Offered in the bar, as well as on its covered terrace and lawn, Ciclo happy hour runs from 5:00 to 7:00 pm seven days a week and includes $4 snacks and $3 sweets, plus complimentary valet parking. Rounding out the food menu is a list of $5 sips, including beer, house cocktail and wines by the glass.

Ciclo is located on the lake level of Four Seasons Hotel Austin.

Been going to Four Seasons for Easter or Mother's Day for years. Website for Four Seasons says $78 p/p. Didn't know I would have to specificalky goigle "Mother's Day" brunch cost to find out it was $148 p/p. A ridiculous fee and didn't include comp for parking or even ONE free Mimosa. Didn't have all the usual cold seafood like oysters, mussels, etc. No brue or blue cheese wheels. No coffee without a fee. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Very disappointed.

The breakfast food was bland and overpriced. I ordered the brisket taco which was just a pile of scrambled eggs, no seasoning and itty bitty bits of brisket. For $20+, I expected some sort of flavor. I could have gone to a food truck and paid $6 for a tastier meal. Service was ok. Our water was never re-filled; I had to steal my husband’s water at the end. The tables weren’t cleaned well. There is particles of food on them when we arrived. I mentioned it to the hostess who said they’d have someone wipe it down, but that never occurred. Then I noticed it was like the on many of the tables near us. The tables had a pretty peony on it- the highlight of our experience. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, however, I wouldn’t bother attending their breakfast again. As we left, the brunch buffet was being prepared and looked good. It’s $78 per plate but might be worth trying (set moderate expectations).

Lovely venue with roses and rose decor. We are outside and it was just beautiful. The weather was a surprisingly comfortable May evening. Daniel was attentive and kind and bought each of my graduating daughters a special dessert. Recommend for a special occasion dinner.

Attentive service, excellent food. This was our 3d visit over the past few months, and we have always enjoyed our visits. The food was excellent, and very interesting. Here, you are not buying the usual steakhouse steak--instead you get an excellent, tender steak with an expressive flavor. It's a different experience entirely. The roasted veggies appetizer was superbly tasty. Salads and sides were each just a bit special, not the usual restaurant stuff, and very tasty. Knowledgeable assistance with the wine choice was appreciated. Even the pre-dinner cocktail was one of the most enjoyable that I've had. The weather was perfect, and we really enjoyed the patio seating. We friends ate, drank, and visited for 4 pleasant hours. I wish the prices were half, and I'd eat here every day.

Ciclo was advertised as high end with smart casual dress. However, the day we came for lunch, kids running around, many in tshirts and food was mediocre. Waiter had his hands full, having us to ask other staff for assistance. I did leave large tip as this was management issue not wait staff. Remember this is a 4 Seasons property- seems the book they wrote on customer experience needs revision.

We were disappointed in the lack of care and attention we received from the staff. From the moment the hostess asked us to follow her out to our table, as she exited the doors she continued walking out instead of pausing to allow us to walk through and the door almost shut in my face, to the lack of attention to the need for serving utensils at the buffet tables, and the filthy restrooms, we were disappointed in the experience. We expected so much more! It was a let down.

Last night, my husband and I celebrated his birthday at this charming restaurant, and it was truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were enchanted by the ambiance. Updated review: The establishment contacted me after I posted this review. It looks like the children were not supposed to be charged the $78 adult brunch and it was a mistake made by an inexperienced waiter. They were very apologetic and made it up to us by refunding the cost of their meal. Brunch was incredibly overpriced, service almost non existent. We were sat down without silverware nor napkins. After 25 min we had to go fetch our own utensils because waiters were barely going outside on the patio where we were seating. Food was good, but oh boy, $77 pp for the buffet, so sticker shock with 2 kids who had 1 pancake and a drink. Just not worth the money.

Beautiful scenery! Although, the portion size for brunch was not worth it for the price of the food. I ordered avocado toast, and it was only one piece of bread with a thin layer of avocado spread on top. It came with a side of sunny side up eggs, but I felt like I was still starving after I ate the food.

The rosé tasting menu was absolutely delicious. I followed it with ceviche and a glass of Pouilly-Fumé, a recommendation from my lovely waiter Jose. Food and service was fantastic. 5 stars!

Alexis is an excellent server! Her suggestion to try the smoked swordfish fish was right on - I wouldn’t ordinarily try this but I’m so glad we did. The classic hippie salad with salmon is always a winner - excellent experience even in a jam packed dining room

Party of four went for Brunch. Hostess was courteous and competent. Has us seated promptly and according to our preferences. Ciclo has an envious Patio by the Town lake. Food selection is impeccable. Atmosphere is great. It has become noisier over time (no fault of the restaurant). Then we realized the manager, of who ever is in charge is on vacation. No one offered us coffee - to the point we started walking in and out looking for coffee. Near the end of Lunch it was announced, oh yes, they could get coffee with a noteworthy statement "might as well do something"! Indeed. Astonishing yet we were told Mimosa is available and is included. Brunch is self service - but does not need to be an orphan. Did the manager get eliminated as a part of fiscal restraint of Four Seasons. Food selection, taste and décor enough to return. It isn't inexpensive, naturally. Hopefully some supervision will return.

This 4S may be my favorite one yet, definitely some of the best food I have had in a hotel in a long time! I could not have felt more welcome as a plant based eater and both the carnivorous and vegetarian options alike were prepared exquisitely, I look forward to dining there again this evening.

It was good food and a good experience. I was a little surprised the food was marginally seasoned. Just never experienced a flavor explosion with any of it. Nice selection of items.

We stayed at the four seasons arriving from the UK The staff couldn’t do enough for us especially my wife who has allergies Great food in a good atmosphere We will be back

All the service staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Daniel, provided very attentive service with an outstanding sense of when to be nearby and an anticipatory understanding of what we might need. We started our dining experience with excellent drinks and appetizers at an outside patio table with a wonderful lake view. When the temperature became a bit too cool, Daniel made our transition to the interior of restaurant with remarkable ease and seated us at his window-side table, again enjoying another remarkable view of the rambling, tree-lit grounds as evening descended. Daniel’s food and wine recommendations were excellent, and the entrees were scrumptious beyond measure. The entire evening was a fantastic culinary and environmental experience. Many thanks to the Sommelier, Joe Pena, and to Ciclo in general for the most pleasant dining environment!

Valentine’s Day so a bit packed. Reservation at 8, weren’t seated until 9. Courses were spaced out 30-40 minutes apart. Sat for an hour before first course was served. Food was subpar. Meal cost almost 700

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. Had dinner on Valentine’s Day (only because we happened to be staying at the hotel that day). Made reservations weeks in advance. Were told we had to sit outside (cold, no heaters available as they were being used), but that we could move inside once a table opened. Watched 3 other couples that came in after us, get moved inside. My husband asked the hostess again if we could be moved or at least have a heater brought to us when one opened up. Again, no one checked on us. Saw a manager wheel a heater past us to a couple that just sat down after we had been waiting an hour and a half. Food wise- received burned popover, main entree of wagyu filet was so salty it was inedible and potato rose was burned as well. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to receive our entree. Just very disappointing overall. It wasn’t until the end of the meal when someone asked how our meal was. Eventually the manager came out and apologized for the inedible entree but never really asked about anything else. He mentioned he had been in the kitchen all night. I’m assuming they were having issues in the kitchen and were understaffed. I don’t typically leave negative reviews but we had such a disappointing experience for a $400 meal for 2.

We dined here for Valentine’s Day 2024 and enjoyed the prix fixe menu with wine paring. Table side service with oysters and caviar was a bonus! Highly recommend!

Valentines dinner. $168 per person. No welcome champagne, table no linens, cable. Basically looked like where the served breakfast. First dish was raw tuna, my wife won’t eat….great start. Should have had something choice. Servers nice. But no bread and salad lacked flavor. Multiple courses but not worth $168 set up so poorly. Had violinist that was nice touch. Much better options in Austin for the price and ambieance.

Overall, one of the best breakfast or brunch restaurants in Austin. Highly recommend their new "Healthy Start" breakfast option, the egg-white omelet was very "clean" and tasted healthy.
