Chef Ati Malaj has been in the restaurant industry for over 25 years with Ciccio being his fourth restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
When you eat at Ciccio, you will gracefully taste his carefully crafted choices of ingredients. He is consistently raising the bar with innovated twists on all of his dishes.
Our mission is to have a place with not just extraordinary food, but also one that will make you feel at home, offering the highest standards in quality and service. From the logo to the silverware, every single detail was thought out and it has a why behind it. Talking about our logo, we don’t call it just a logo; we wanted it to tell a story and that’s exactly how it turned out. As simple as it looks, it tells our story.
The word “Ciccio” [pronounced CH EE – ch oh] means “sweetheart/an affectionate way of calling someone you love” in Italian, and that is exactly how he and his family feel about this place and what it represents to them.

Everything we tried was delicious! We ordered the focaccia bread first and it was very good. The only thing I would suggest is more olive oil! We had 4 different pastas: Fettucine, Rigatoni, Tagliatelle, and Pappardelle. Everyone loved their dish. They have a great patio, and 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely return!

The great food and service has been consistent. Really love the variety on the menu. This is my 3rd visit and again I was not disappointed. Absolutely Delicious!!

We love Ciccio. Food is always delicious. It’s always a little crowded in there but otherwise it’s great. I’ve tried many things on the menu and it is all good.

My wife and I were looking for a new Italian restaurant to try for our date night and set a reservation to try the new Cuccina in McKinney. We were more than delighted with the food and the service. We would highly recommend checking out Mio Nonno sister restaurant in McKinney.

The food is always amanzing, and the staff is awesome. The only downside is the "live music" on Thursday is too loud and not really very pleasant. It makes it difficult to think, much less have a conversation. Any other night of the week without live music is great.

We are never disappointed here. We went a little later than we usually do and the fun was going. There was a private party on the patio we were disappointed as it was a perfect Texas night to be out on their beautiful patio. But we enjoyed as always the inside. A must in McKinney - you will not go away hungry or disappointed

Great experience for first time visit. The polenta appetizer was superb, as was focaccia. The main dishes were equally wonderful. My girlfriend ordered lasagna. I followed Collin County Foodies advise ordering gnocchi. Both dishes stood out, especially gnocchi. Highly recommend this establishment.

Cecilia was amazing!!!! The service was amazing...her attitude, friendliness, and knowledge of the menu ensured we had a wonderful time! She was even a great sport and helped "sort" us!

We had a wonderful evening date night at Ciccio. I found them on line and am so glad I did! We sat on the patio and were able to have great conversation (and actually hear each other, music was fun but not too loud))Our waiter Andres was incredible and about as close to perfect as you could get! We were both so impressed! We had a great time! The food was delicious! We both had the Branzino. Will recommend for sure!

We were so very impressed with the immediate seating, the happy face of our server and the delightfully prepared food. Every item was on-point. We enjoyed every mouthful. The White Russian drink I was served was perfectly concocted! There will be many more visits to Ciccio's in the future.

Reservation was promptly honored. Outa Standing service from our service from the time we arrived until we left. Great menu with options for all members of our party. Food was excellent and served promptly, but not rushed. Great offering for this community

The food was amazing. The service was OK. I have to admit it was very slow and we waited quite a bit to be checked on and to receive things. However, our server was very lovely. She was just very very slow.

We went back to Ciccio Trattoria for a second time to celebrate my wife's birthday. We went for the first time last year and we enjoyed it so much we wanted to come back! In terms of ambience it's a cozy restaurant. They have outdoor and indoor seating. They have live music on some nights. It's not too dark and the decor gives it a lively feeling that you get when you're at a Sunday dinner. It's not super bright, plenty of windows, and the decor pops. The service does not disappoint. The wait staff are attentive. They have a good selection of wines. Lots of French and Italian varietals. Their cocktails are good as well. The food is top notch. The first time I went I had the ossobuco and the grilled octopus. Both had excellent presentation, the octopus was soft and seasoned well. The ossobuco was tender, fall off the bone. They gave me crostini's for the bone marrow. The pastas are made fresh which gives them a good chew. The tagliatelle was flavorful with the sauces which includes a bone marrow as well to add more unctuousness to the dish. Would recommend this place for date nights and for friends who enjoy good Italian dishes. I would come back again soon; this place does not disappoint. I commented to my wife that Ciccio is the kind of place I love: a neighborhood place that serves high quality dishes. It's not pretentious, it's not trying to push those Michelin star vibes at you, instead it focuses on giving you quality at every step.

It’s a cute restaurant, a bit crowded inside but they have a very nice patio with tables that are further apart. Service was very good, the food is very good but desserts (tiramisu and cannoli) not very authentic. Not super expensive, we enjoy going there!

Ciccio Trattoria is a lovely experience. Beautifully decorated and the food is excellent. One drawback is the noise level. It wasn’t overwhelming as in most restaurants but still loud. Another is the temperature of the food. I had duck confit which was delicious but the turnip purée was cold. I mixed it in with the accompanying lentils and still had a good meal. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food. Also my daughter loved her short ribs and gnocchi.

The 3 of us went on a weekday at lunchtime and enjoyed a quiet, elegant meal. We shared the meatball appetizer which came with a rich tomato sauce and shaved romano. It was plenty for the 3 of us. We also shared an order of focaccia bread, since no bread comes with any entrees. The lack of bread at the table was one of my very few disappointments. The place is lovely, with bouquets of fresh flowers and quiet music and the service was attentive, without being annoying. We enjoyed the lobster stuffed ravioli, chicken parmigiana and spaghetti, and a spinach lasagna filled with beef ragu in a thick tomato sauce. Thumbs up on all entrees and there were leftovers for the next day's lunch.
