A nice, cozy, and friendly environment where anyone can come to eat regardless of the occasion. We serve a variety of typical Latin dishes, empanadas, wine, and beer.

We give everyone a taste of freshly made Latin cuisine in our “Little Manhattan-Style Restaurant” as it was put by the Stratford Town Hall we were selected for the town’s award of “Best Use of Small Space”

I’ve been to the Stratford location and loved it so we figured it was the same and went for Mother’s Day. Appetizers and drinks were great- We got the steak nachos and maduros with cheese. Not sure what’s happening with the entrees. The pernil is now shredded vs the nice sized chunk they give in Stratford and it was SOOOO DRY. You could tell they had shredded it and had it sitting under lights for a while with no sauce. 2 people in my party had the pernil and both portions were like that. The beans had no flavor. The rice was good. My niece has the steak lomo and the steak was also wayyy overcooked. Again, like it was already made and they just reheated it. I had the scallops and was not impressed. It stated it was scallops with coconut lobster sauce over rice and grilled veggies. I paid $30 for 4 scallops that were also overcooked (super rubbery) and I definitely did not taste any lobster in the sauce or coconut for that matter. The grilled veggies was also a few onions and peppers scattered. Definitely not what I was thinking would come out. Disappointed and wondering why it’s so different than Stratford.

Cibus really struggled to handle a busy Mother’s Day service today. While our server led with a request to be patient as they were running a bit behind, waiting nearly 1 1/2 hours for our main courses after receiving our apps just 10 min after ordering was just too long of a wait. I don’t blame our server for these kitchen woes, but they were at least a server short for the room and to be honest, never once did I see or hear from a manager to address the delays or offer something to make up for the inconvenience. They were simply ill prepared for a full house for this particular holiday service.

Worst dining experience ever. Waited 85 minutes for cold food and the manager never even came out to apologize. Avoid this restaurant.

Excellent food with meh service. Took the server more than 10 minutes to bring water and menus. Thankfully the food was very good and made up for the crap service.

We went to Cibus for a birthday celebration and enjoyed the experience. The food was incredible, the service was great, and we really liked the ambiance and decor. We could tell the cocktails were crafted from the specialties to the lemonade. Bella was a wonderful waitress and we will definitely return when we have a craving for Latin fusion.
