Back in Mansfield after about a year and had to have dinner at Cibo. Food, service, and atmosphere were great. Most restaurants have difficulty maintaining consistency year to year but Cibo has figured it out.

It might be a challenge to get in and out of the parking lot but the food, service and drinks make it worth the effort. All this at a reasonable price. We will return for more.

Food and cocktails were delicious: Antipasto board, bread basket, veal Marsala, chicken parm. There was an altercation between another patron and myself when he squeezed past me and my husband who is handicapped. I raised my arm to keep my husband steady and the other patron thought I pushed him when we connected. There was plenty of other access to his table, too. All the staff were upset and especially when he later left, verbally threatening everyone. The staff were so nice, checking on us often to be sure we were ok. Our server Jenna was her usual professional and sweet self. The attitude of the staff really helped us to continue to enjoy our evening.

Jenna is an outstanding server! We love having her as our waitress every time we come to Cibo. At a loss for what to have? The herbed goat cheese salad with salmon is where it’s at! But you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Hands down our favorite restaurant in the area.

The quality of the food has gone downhill. We’ve been coming here for years because we could always count on the quality and consistency. We knew we would always get a great meal here. Unfortunately, it just isn’t true now. The last two times we’ve come here have been disappointing. My go to here is a goat cheese salad with shrimp. They used to use a very creamy, slightly sweet, goat cheese. The last two times I’ve gotten the salad, the cheese has been flavorless and almost curdled/gritty in texture. It should be spot on when you’re paying $40 for a salad. Speaking of which, the goat cheese salad itself is $20 and another $18 for a shrimp add on. The shrimp add on is four smallish shrimp. They usually have a ton of flavor but again, the last two times, they’ve been completely over cooked and flavorless. We got two glasses of wine, one appetizer and two entrees which totaled $140. That’s a hefty price tag for lunch. We probably won’t be back, which is a shame, because it’s been our favorite for at least a decade. I have recommended this restaurant over and over but I couldn’t do that now. The service was still excellent, as always. The vibe on the outdoor patio is comfortable and relaxing but the food is subpar. It’s just such a bummer.

We sat on the patio which was lovely. The goat cheese salad (added Salmon) was delicious and the service was equally great.

Special treat for the family. Chicken wings and Calamari for apps were great. We had mix of entrees from salads to pizza to pasta and all were delicious. Service is always outstanding and attentive.

4 out of 5 meals were perfect. For the 5th meal, the pasta was a bit undercooked. A bit more than al dente. Other than that all was delicious. Still one of our favorite restaurants!
