Wonderful dinner at Ciao Roma. We were there to celebrate our son's graduation. Saul was our waiter and he was great. Offered recommendations and was great in not rushing us and letting us truly enjoy dinner. Great quality food. We ordered several appetizers: Calamari, Polpeta, Octopus salad, artichokes, all great. All pastas and different main dishes were very good. Great italian wine selection. Overall great experience. We were upstairs as we were a large party of 12, and had a great time.

This restaurant not only had fantastic ambiance, low lighting, candles, lovely decor…but they also paid close attention to my requests! I said it was going to be my mom’s birthday the day we were there and asked if we could have a table by the window. Check. They also gave her a birthday card, decorated the table, and brought her gelato with a candle! She felt so special! Not to mention the server was great and the food was fantastic!

Swordfish was dry and food was cold. Shrimp scampi was bland. Service was insanely slow, we sat for 15 min before a waiter came over

We booked our reservation under the Date Night Special. This was a $49 dollar special on Monday night only. I even called to confirm this after I made the reservation through open table, even though it stated that on the reservation. When we arrived they told us there was no date night special, that was after we were seated 10 minutes past our reservation a tiny table, barely big enough for 2 people, and waited another 10 minutes for anyone to come over and greet us. The menu did not match the menu online, we came specifically for the deal, and ended up spending way more money than we had planned for mediocre food.

WE FELT SO SPECIAL!! This was one of the best experiences we have ever had in the North End and we dine there frequently! We went to celebrate our anniversary and have never been made to feel so celebrated. Ciao Roma had a beautiful table set for us accompanied by a lovely personalized note wishing us a happy anniversary. To make things even better, they made menus for us which said “happy anniversary” and started our service with a champagne toast! The food was incredible and cooked to a perfect al denté. We will absolutely be dining again and are so appreciative of the kind, welcoming, and thoughtful staff. Cheers!

Food was disappointing. They advertised a $60 Monday deal, but when we got there they said they were “phasing it out for the patio”. Doesn’t make sense. Host was not kind or sympathetic. Service was good though

Hi there! I am so sorry to hear this! Sadly, our Date Night Special only runs seasonally through the winter, ending on the last Monday of April.

Flavors were flat, got chicken parm and only tasted tomato and cheese. The ambience was good, Italian music was playing in the background and servers were nice. It’s too expensive given the food you get

We did not care for the food much, it was beautiful and looked great but lacked flavor. Everything was very bland, arincini app was over cooked. Drinks were the best part. Server, (Saul?) was not charismatic, almost seemed annoyed we were there. And very rudely corrected the way my mother (who was born in Italy) said gnocchi. Would not return.
