                                                                  We chose Chirch and Union for Mother’s Day brunch based on the referrals from Foodie of Nashville… everything was really good… UNTIL we watched a younger lady go up to the dessert bar (which we were sitting right by) and get one pastry with the tongs.. suck whatever got on her fingers off, grab the next pair of tongs and do the same thing repeatedly until she got to the last dessert 🤮! The service was overall good, until they handed us our check and then we felt like we were being rushed out! We felt like it was a bit expensive for what was offered.. $460 for 4 people!

                                                                  We enjoyed our before-Symphony meal here last Saturday night. It was uncrowded when we sat down and pretty full when we left. The menu was inventive and so different from run-of-the-mill downtown upscale restaurants. The F**** O**** Agnoloti was creative as was the plating/sauce for the salmon. The complementary hummus starter was nice and flavorful. Unfortunately, several of the sauces we tried were a bit under-flavored (e.g., we could taste or smell any ginger in the sauce around the salmon. Similarly, the Moroccan meatballs had no flavoring (other than the meat of course) although in that dish the combination of sauces worked quite well and were well flavored. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was fun and exciting with good (mostly young) people watching. Convenient parking directly underneath.

                                                                  Honestly this was our worst meal in Nashville. Staff were nice but service was slow. I can accept slow if the food was good. My scallops were almost inedible. The texture was mushy, the sauce was bland. My BF had a pork chop that was so over cooked we were practically sawing it with the knife. Shrimp appetizer was good. We were very disappointed :(

Our server was OK but either she had too many tables or she just didn't really care about her level of service. We ordered wine to come with our entrees after our seafood tower, and we were all practically done with our food by the time we were able to tell the manager when he came by our table. Other than that it was great.

Highly recommend the meatballs for appetizer and pork chop was cooked perfectly. If you could manage dessert the pound cake was light and beautifully plated
