We have been many times and take new people very often as well. Everyone always comments on how good everything is. We are actually moving from Florida to Michigan very soon and won’t have a chance to go back. So we do go as often as possible while we’re still here.

Our 3rd time at Chucheria all I can say, excellent. Service staff welcoming, knowledgeable of menu and eager to explain flavors. Cocktails and food was excellent for all 4 of us in the party.

A hidden treasure in Holly Hill! Conch soup starter was amazingly generous with copious chunks of conch with just the right amount of chewiness in savory coconut broth. The mussels in a light tomato sauce with chorizo and olives could have been our entree- just try to not dip your bread in these 2 apps. Signature Honduran steak was excellently prepared at requested temperature accompanied by savory black beans and rice along with a side serving of chimichurri sauce. We had no room for their wonderful sounding desserts. They have an excellent, well thought out wine list where we chose one of our favorite Riojas- Marques de Riscal Gran Reserva. It was the perfect pairing with the cuisine. Service is exceptional with very knowledgeable and personable staff. We will return soon!

Another great dinner. Everything was top notch. The food was outstanding, priced well and Nicole, our server, was also exceptional. We brought our friends who had never been there before and they can’t wait to go back. This is a hidden gem in Daytona!

There are so many positives….our server gave a wonderful wine recommendation, she knew the menu well and answered several questions &, again, gave great recommendations! The food was fantastic….the appetizers and main entrees…we left zero drops of food on the plates! We were not rushed…spent over 2 hours! Couldn’t have dessert…we were stuffed!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The dinner did not disappoint. Every dish that we ordered was amazing. The flavors and the mixture of the different foods were a great fusion. We will definitely come back again. The cod soup was my husband‘s favorite. My favorite was the Spanish style octopus. Our server was great and was very attentive to our needs. He even brung us the extra extra hot pepper sauce.

We went to celebrate a birthday. It was our first time to dine at Chucherias Hondurenas. The outside of the building, and the neighborhood, were uninspiring, but once we stepped into the courtyard it was a new world. We were completely charmed by the atmosphere inside and outside of the intimate dining room. The flavors, and presentation of our meal choices were wonderful. The service, our server was Rui, was friendly but very professional. We will be definitely back.

We had a fabulous experience. Was not expecting such a great spot in Daytona. Would definitely recommend this spot for people who like to step outside the box for your restaurant experience.

I have been eating at Chucherria for many, many years. Last night I took 4 guests, two of whom had never eaten it. As always, everything was delicious and perfectly prepared and the service perfect. One person had one of the steak dishes, one had the roast pork and two had grouper. Everybody loved their meals.

Wow, what a find! Food was fantastic, I had the pork dish which was fork tender, my wife had the chicken breast which was seasoned perfectly for her. The medication I’m on prevents me from having alcohol so having a choice of three NA cocktails to choose from was fantastic; the tequila drink was so good I had two! My wife had the traditional sangria Blanca which was loaded with diced fruit; excellent. Finally desert was special, I had the crema Catalan which is an orange flavored cream brûlée topped with orange slices. My wife had the chocolate bread pudding that came with peanut butter ice cream and diced strawberries. Neither was too sweet and both were the right size! Overall a very nice experience and would not hesitate to return or recommend to friends!

The pulpo appetizer is the best. My date and I both had the special, mahi in a curry broth. They had new cocktails on the menu. I tried the "lavender sky" I highly recommend it. Delicioso!

The waiter was extremely helpful, friendly, great at making cocktails, great food recommendations and made us feel welcome. The food was amazing. The cocktails were unique and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant. Please know you MUST make reservations way in advance as the restaurant is small/quaint.

A unique food experience. There was a slight Caribbean flare to the Spanish cuisine. I could bathe in the coconut creamy sauce it was so good. It was our anniversary and we were treated well. Great service.

Great place for an intimate dinner. Food is excellent and ambience was perfect. Actually able to have a conversation without having to strain to hear each other. Highly recommend if looking for a special night out.
