I ordered a shrimp and scallop linguini meal - it was very bland, lacking flavor; the scallops were charred on one side. Not great. Servers were friendly but overly busy.

First time diner, mixed feelings for a Saturday night family dinner. Nice hotel and large venue with options for open space seating or quiet corner tables. Food was good drinks also but noticeably different bartenders making orders to their preference not menu. Similar with entrees as chicken Marsala described with potatoes and asparagus arrived over linguini. Still tasty but not as described without warning. Final dessert and coffee was a delay to arrive to table. I’d give it another visit hoping for our new waitress to become more settled with menu and service. 8/10 thanks to staff for being professional and answering questions.

Took almost 30 minutes for the appetizers to come out and then another hour for our food to arrive. Truly pathetic and the manager didn’t seem to care and our server was too embarrassed to come over and check on us knowing how bad it’s been. DO NOT come to this place to eat dinner.

Worst experience we ever had at a restaurant. We arrived at 6:30 for our reservation on valentines day, were seated immediately and placed our order maybe 15 min later. Our drinks and salads came out after about 15min and they were average at best. We can't even rate the rest of the food because we never got it. At 8:30 we told the waitress to cancel the rest of our order and bring us a check for what we had received. She apologized for the wait and brought the check like we asked. As we were leaving we noticed no one in the entire restaurant seemed to have entrees, including some tables that were there before us. I am not sure what the issue was but we will not be going back again.

Hidden gem in Burlington. We've lived here for 50 years and never realized how great the food was. We'll be going back soon.

Didn't realize this restaurant was inside a Marriott. Staff was very friendly, some good people watching. White Sangria drink was very tasty. Decent amount of gluten-free menu items so we appreciated that. Overall a nice time.

The bruschetta appetizer was excellent! I had a steak sandwich with mushrooms and peppers that was delicious but would have been easier to eat if the steak had been sliced into smaller pieces, the big piece of steak in a sandwich wasn’t easy to eat but was very good. Excellent bartender!

I would not recommend this restaurant for brunch. When we made the reservation we knew it was inside of a hotel, but we still assumed it would be an upscale restaurant experience. It was not. There was an à la carte menu online but when we arrived we realized that was not going to be an option. It was a Buffet only. The restaurant seemed understaffed and no one greeted us despite us waiting at the host stand for about 15 minutes. Finally we just walked in and sat at an empty table. We realized there would be no table service so we went to the Buffet and got our meals. Very long line if you wanted a waffle. The food was fine - they were replenishing the buffet regularly- but not what we expected. We obtained our own silverware and our own drinks. A waiter eventually came over and simply dropped off a bill. The place was loud and full of what appeared to be a youth hockey convention. I will definitely choose a different restaurant next time I want to get brunch with my girlfriends.

Chopps used to be a place you could go and get great food and great service. The service was good but the food was a bit to be desired. Seems like they turned it into a hotel restaurant and not for any one who does not stay there. Very disappointed and not sure we will go back.

Love Chopps! My Parents like to stay at the Burlington Marriott and this is a convenient place to meet! Food was great! Service was great! They gave me a piece of cake with a candle for my birthday! So sweet thank you!! Nice easy spot to get in and have a nice meal!

Terrible. Was there for a business dinner. We were seated at the bar (we were told no staff to open the dining area away from the noise). The server immediately began asking if we were ready to order. So, we politely asked for the menus first? It got worse from there. The sirloin ($45) tasted as if the meat had gone bad. I gave it to my dog (with reservations). Need I say more….. The end !

I couldn't leave a comprehensive review because I never got to dine at Chopp's! I made reservations through Open Table, they were confirmed, and I got a reminder to show up at the appointed time. When my out-of-town guests and I arrived at Chopp's we discovered that the dining room was closed! The hotel concierge told us the restaurant was closed for the holidays. Did they not bother to let Open Table know that they were closed and take those available times off the schedule? How embarrassing it was to have people who came across the country and planned to meet there, only to discover that we had to quickly find somewhere else to go!

Mixed review for sure. They've closed the actual dining room for dinner, so your only option is the bar/lounge. Not what you expect when you're spending $$$ for a nice evening out at a steakhouse. We went to have a special birthday dinner for two. Huge TV's everywhere, some of which were showing a very partisan station with a controversial interview. We spoke to management and they changed it, but seemed inappropriate. Food quality was very good, but you'd hope so for the price. Server very good.

Was happy for the reopening of Chopps. Staff was overwhelmed from the start our waitress was hustling and trying her hardest. I was disappointed with the martini pour, I’d rather a smaller glass then looking like a short pour. Next onion rings for an appetizer while they tasted good 6 small onion rings on a plate especially after a short pour I had 0 faith in my dinner choice. But dinner was really good, portion size & taste great as for my daughters caprese salad for dinner huge disappointment small bowl w/grape tomatoes & mozzarella balls. Overall food was good but they need to work on staffing

The new renovations are beautiful! The interior ba!r area festive; the outer seating area has a wonderful view to the outside patio, open in the summer. The food is some of the best I've had - particularly the salmon! The service is a bit slow from order to table, but not so much that you would avoid this restaurant for that reason. Staff is very attentive to making sure you are happy with your food and your dining experience. I did not have their steak, but I look forward to returning.

Fabulous cocktail! Loved the live music. A wonderful guitar/ singer performed on a Tuesday night. Seating was a little unconventional (comfy chairs and a lower table) and i never like to have screens in my dining area.

We stayed at the Marriott for my daughters 16th birthday “girls day of shopping”. Out of the 5 girls, one has a peanut, gluten, and soy allergy, another has a peanut and dairy allergy, one is vegetarian, and I’m vegan. Several days prior to our arrival, I called the restaurant to inquire if they would be able to accommodate us. Rest assured, they were more than accommodating. The moment we were seated, the manager introduced himself assured us that the chef was well aware of their allergies and eager to work with us. Our waitress, Kim was phenomenal! She never seemed overwhelmed with the workload or questions that were asked. Overall, delicious and great service.. Would highly recommend CHOPPS

Chopps at the Burlington Marriott definitely falls into the category of "hidden gem." You just don't expect top steak house quality from a hotel restaurant. Don't get me wrong. This is still not Capital Grille or The Federal, but it's not priced like them either. The service IS as good, especially if you are fortunate enough to have waiters "V" or Lisa. The fried calamari is excellent with a light breading, beautifully seasoned. The clam chowder is fantastic with tender clams and some smokey bacon. The steaks are always very good (just a hair below CG quality) and my wife loves the salmon. Side dishes are delicious and generous enough to share always. The wine selection is modest (again, it's not CG), but they have a very nice selection of sub-$100 bottles, and a few over that price-point. Save room for dessert, because those are excellent, too. I love to bring the family there because it is quality dining and reasonable prices.

We drove for just under 40 minutes, just to try something new, after I saw some good reviews. Chopps is a gem! Our first-time visit and the food was excellent. Very good value for the higher-end quality of the meal, i.e. 8oz filet was $41 and came with a side of delicious mashed potatoes, AND a sauce of your choice. I substituted asparagus for $2 and got béarnaise. It was fabulous. Crab cakes were delightful and the creme brulee was perfect. The decor definitely reminds you that you're in a hotel. It's a little dated, and some white table cloths for dinner might be a nice touch, but it's not terrible and the lighting is low, so you may not mind. The dining room did have a cool huge skylight that was nice, we could hear the rain pattering lightly. If you're staying in the hotel, definitely give Chopps a chance, you don't have to bother leaving to get a nice meal. Our server, Michael, clearly cared about our experience by providing us with very detailed recommendations and incredibly attentive service, with a few corny jokes thrown in. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into how he sells food. That may not be for everyone, but he made our experience light-hearted and fun! Will be back.

Overall an above average to great steak house. Kind of a hidden gem, located in the Marriott Hotel. The lounge was comfortable, service was good. The chowder was fantastic. The steak frites was fantastic, cooked very well. A little $$, but overall very good.

Hello, I’ll start by saying this, we were seated promptly we had bread and water promptly. That’s the good. We had to ask three different servers for butter and plates. We did not have the typical dinner memo or the New Years menu, instead we had the lunch menus on our table. We asked for a dinner menu and received the New Years menu. Why weren’t we offer the typical dinner menu? We proceeded to order two appetizers which we only received one. Server never wrote other appetizer down. We were given three meatballs due to the long wait for the entree’s. As were about to enjoy them, the waiter quickly removed them off the table and said they weren’t for us and removed them. We ordered from the New Years menu as we were not even asked if we wanted the typical dinner menu. Entree’s were mediocre at best, I never ordered onion straws but they came with our entree’s The manger never walked around to ask how everything was. The server then proceeded to tell us his life story for the remainder of our night. Waiter asked if we were ready for dessert when we hadn’t ate half our dinner. We decided not to order dessert. The waiter then took it on his own to bring us two small chocolate balls with cinnamon coating and to top it off, the waiter brought us a to go container of peanut butter. This was by far the worst New Years dinner we have ever had. I personally do not think this restaurant was ready for this type of evening. All the wait staff seems to be running around and not getting any properly done. Obviously we will not return. I just hope no one else ever has to endure this type of experience at this restaurant..

We waited an hour for our meal, our waters never got refilled. We split a bottle of wine and then our waiter never came back to offer another beverage or dessert after our meal. A different waiter had to get us our check and box our food. Will never eat here again
