Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Had a beautiful meal. I have celiac and both my husband and I eat gluten free. There was lots to choose from and they made sure everything was gluten free. Waitress was very friendly and very helpful. Love this restaurant

    I received smashed potatoes with my order of Blackened Truffle Butter Sirloin and they were so dry that they were inedible. They were certainly not smashed enough nor covered with enough butter or beef tallow to make them something a person could eat. I took them home and fixed them properly as I am a home gourmet cook. The bottle of wine ordered tasted all together different than the glasses ordered separately. This was brought up to the waiter who offered to bring a new glass. Totally inadequate. Everything else was great.

    Our server was spectacular, she made excellent recommendations, she was fun and bubbly and not in our face every 5 minutes. I have not been to Chop in YEARS, I'll definitely go back!

    Our new go to steakhouse 👍, staff were very efficient, pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu. The appy's and steak dinners were cooked to perfection. Overall a pleasant evening out.

    We are frequent diners at Chop. This time it seems as if we were forgotten. The soup came timely, but we watched diners who came after us get their entrees while we waited. Ours finally came but it was not as hot as it should be. It still tasted pretty good.
