Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

Had a very nice evening at CHOP. Our entrees came while we were only half way through our starters. The manager immediately rectified the situation. I didn't get her name but she was absolutely lovely. Our server, Heather W was very attentive and genuinely friendly.

The food and the staff were simply amazing. Very attentive. The steaks and desserts were phenomenal. Beef was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Can recommend.

Chop's food is always delicious. This is where my family first ate out in Canada. It means something to us, so we often look for it. KYEL K is always friendly and delicate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night. Service was great - very cordial - and we never felt rushed even though we were catching up with close friends. Our waiter was very patient as we took a long time to finally decide on our dinner. We all would definitely come back again! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Great place and great food, service felt rushed and very insincere. I truly feel the service makes the visit and tonight was less than thrilled with our waitress. Management and food delivery was great but our waitress seemed rushed and not focused.

The food and service was amazing. The only thing is, they brought my hubby a dessert for his birthday. Something we didn't ask for. But, they charged us for it. Shouldn't it have been free? We thought so.

Chop coal harbour is a perfect place to go to enjoy the benefits of happy hour bites, plus delicious meals afterwards. Fantastic service with very close attention to details of timing for when each course arrived. Overall, such a special, fun evening out!!! Delicious!

Chop is my favourite place to celebrate any important event or milestone. I LOVE this place! I took my sisters for their birthday and they enjoyed every minute of their experience. The food and drinks were amazing. The service was exceptional as usual! This was def a birthday dinner to remember! ❤️

Food was great. Service was NOT. We were celebrating a birthday. We sat down and within a few minutes of being seated our server came by to ask us if we were ready to order our food. Indication of type of service we were going to get.. Felt we were at a breakfast diner instead of a fine dining steak restaurant. No acknowledgement of birthday eventhough it was indicated on resie. Kept walkjg by us with little acknowledgment and it was not that busy. She just did not seem to car. When food came did not come with bottle of wine that was ordered. Very pleasant staff member who I think must have been mngmt tried to make it up to us by arranging for our wine to be brought to our table right away with our dinner and also arranged complementary birthday dessert. Thank you. We used to enjoy dining out. Not so much any more. Dont mind paying to dine out but really get upset when the service is so BAD and the expecation by servers is still to get a good tip. So unfortunate. Eventhough the food and drinks were outstanding the service was not and so will not be going back to that location.

I don't want to stay it's a tourist trap due to location but.... a tourist trap due to location.... and I'm not a tourist. If you must got, don't sit upstairs.

Perfect bone-in strip loin with blue cheese at a reasonable price. One of our steaks was overcooked, and the manager made it right, no questions asked. Very impressed. This is how you do it, folks.

The food was quick to arrive. Looked great, and tasted great too. Bar area is ok, can feel a little tight. Restaurant seating is pretty decently spread out. Staff seemed pretty quick and polite. I'd go again.

Fantastic dinner with friends celebrating our 40th. Complimentary bubbles to start … lovely appetizers … terrific attentive service and our meals were all great. Will return!

The food and service are excellent but the music was too loud. It’s hard to talk to each other in the group. Manager said it’s a Saturday night that they can’t turn it down. That’s too bad.

The service was good. Food was ok. I was a bit underwhelmed by my steak. It was overcooked. But overall, nothing stood out considering steak is what they are known for.

We went here for my husbands 30th birthday and the service and food was amazing! Probably the best service we have received in a restaurant in a long time. The food was delicious and they gave us champagne, appy and a dessert on the house. Our server was so kind and attentive too. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!!!

Our server was very friendly, her service was fantastic. The manager came by to make sure everything was going well with our experience. The food was once again amazing. We shared a Caesar salad, love the crispy capers. I had the Sirloin Oscar and it was cooked perfectly. My husband loved his filet too. Another great experience, thank you.

The staff were absolutely wonderful to speak too and they ensured we were very taken care of. We showed up with an extra person for our reservation and they didn’t hesitate to accommodate our change. We also had someone with a dairy issue and when our meals were coming out, the chef himself came with a selection of dips that the him and the kitchen had created to compliment her meal. We felt like we were treated like VIP! We highly recommend dining at this lovely establishment and we cannot wait to dine here again :) thank you Chop!

I took my family of 5 to this venue as I have always liked Chop in Richmond and wanted to try the downtown location. We were seated at a lovely large booth and some ordered off the Dine Out Vancouver menu and others ordered from the regular menu. All was excellent. Prime Rib, steaks and hamburger were grilled to perfection, vegetables not overcooked. They provided a complimentary goat cheese dip with crostini as a starter. Service was excellent. It was my birthday so they brought over the dessert with a candle on it and then presented me with a signed card from the entire staff, along with a voucher for future steak bites. It was a perfect dinner with my family in a lovely setting. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant if you want a good meal, great service in an outstanding Vancouver location close to skytrain and views of Coal Harbour.
