Restaurant was small inside and very cold. The air from one side blows directly on the patrons on the other side. We moved to the warmer side and were fine. The waitress was excellent. The food was very good, but having lived in South Florida for 18 years, nothing can comapare.

Love this place! I made a reservation for my boyfriend‘s birthday. I brought a cake our waiter. Juan handled everything. The entire staff came out and surprised my boyfriend with a song and the candles lid on his cake. The roast pork was phenomenal wonderful meal. Everything was tasty. I’ve told several friends already.

We had an excellent experience and our Server was polite and very attentive. The food was great. The only issue was that our entree came out before our appetizer, which was unfortunate and we inadvertently forgot it at our table upon departure. Other than that, we had a very nice experience & very much like the change to the interior.

I reviewed the menu online beforehand & I had my eye on the Delmomico steak, lobster & shrimp and when I got there, I was told they weren't serving it. I was so upset. So we ended up ordering from the dinner for 2 $90. Food was ok, not what i would choose to eat on Valentine's Day. We ate outside..not romantic at all. Servers passing us all night long, car noises as they pass by in parking lot & street, people picking or ordering at the window that was behind us. 1st time visiting. We will give it another try if we can get a seat inside. I did not like the expresso dessert either.

My cousin and I didn’t receive the salad we ordered. I was disappointed my order wasn’t right since I rarely have time to make it to Chicas often. I was craving my chef salad with all the fixings, but that’s not what I got. I am appreciative that our bill was adjusted without an issue but I really wanted my salad :-(

We were a huge party, (14) and we all had a great experience. Server was just wonderful and the food so good we could barely breathe. The cocktails at the bar Nextdoor are not to be missed either. Great place!

Excellent breakfast on Sunday! Fresh, healthy meal- delicious, sizable serving! All staff exceedingly pleasant and responsive. Outdoor seating charming, low road noise - no traffic on Sunday. Bathrooms exceptionally clean and attended to. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent! I’d been for lunch once and loved it, so I brought my husband, who was also very pleased with his food. We’ll definitely be back! Service was good, staff was friendly. The restaurant is small, nicely decorated, and very clean.

Seven of us had a lovely lunch at Chico's on Friday, January 19th. Most got the 1/2 Cuban sandwich and soup lunch, which everyone raved about. I had the Roja Viejo, which was also very good and generous serving. Our waitress, Serena, was very pleasant and competent, quick to take and bring our orders and checks. When we first arrived the music was a little bit loud, for us to hear each other talking, but at my request, Serena turned it down a bit and all was Cool! Thank you, Chica's for a fine lunch for all of us friends!

Had a reservation but was told it would be 40 minutes they filled all the inside tables before our reservation and we were there beforehand. Once seated luckily within 10 minutes we were seated inside as requested because someone finished their dining. Then no one acknowledged us at the table for a good 15 minutes. No one said hello or said anything. They were out of the fish. Our food was just average and overcooked especially the rice. My husbands ribs were total fat and he had to return them. There was nothing about our experience that was special. I was tea looking forward to a great Cuban meal.

Most amazing food we’ve had outside our kitchen in a while. Family took a wide range of different meals and we’ve got to admit, each one was a good as the other. Highly recommend the ceviche. Only “issue” was the lack of service. We never got a refill on any of our drinks, that includes water (we started eating our ice cubes). Additionally we got our wine bottle after our meal. Just a personal preference of ours to have it with our meal, not a desert. Besides that, we will return for the food and the ambiance. Staff was very friendly as well.

The food was good and everyone was pleasant. The only issue is the parking. There is not enough spaces for customers to park because they share the parking lot with the hotel.

We were seated outside for a reservation that did not request outdoor seating. Waitress seemed excited to get us whatever we needed, but never followed through until second request for same item or service. Food was good, but super slow coming out. Besides the French fries on one order, all of this food is prepared already and understandingly has to be. So, fill the plates and get them out to your hungry customers. The absent minded waitress could have helped eased the frustration with wait times if she would have taken care of her tables.

Excellent food. Appetizer was big enough for 2 . We wait a bit for our main dish but it worts every bite. Cocktails (Mojitos) were also really goods and the dessert (flan-cheesecake) was also a grand finale. Really great service and attention. Prices are reasonable having in mind cost of food now. Overall a very good experience and a place where put in our favorites list.

The food was delicious and the best Cuban food we’ve had to date. The service was great and we live 2 hours away and will make that drive for their food without question. Everything was amazing

Food was great but service was slow in taking our orders. There seemed to be enough staff so I have no idea why we waited about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us

We went towards the end of the DeLand Holiday parade and sat outside, to see the end of the parade and because we had two dogs with us. The service was very accommodating towards us and ensured our dogs were also attended to. It was loud, due to the activities that night but that did not hamper our dinner any. Disappointed that they ran out of one dessert.

Everything about Chica's was fantastic. There was 27 people in our group, and everyone loved it, not one complaint. The food was very delicious, and the staff was very pleasant. I have told all of my family and friends that they need to go to support Chicas, and that they would not be disappointed. It was a bit noisy but it's an old building. The food and service were worth a little noise go check them out for yourself.

This was our first time eating here and eating Cuban food other than a Cuban sandwich. We had the Cuban eggroll and it was yummy. First time eating yucca and we also had skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. All the food was amazing and our server had great recommendations and gave great service. We will go back

We had the best server, Mackenna! The food was great & to top it off they had a duo playing music that was amazing! A lovely evening with out grandchildren.
