Bacon, pancakes, and complimentary croissants were delightful. Biscuits and gravy were top-notch! By far, our favorite place to devour them. Service was good.. a little noisy from fellow patrins, but excellent vibe and atmosphere as usual. It is one of our favorite places to go to after church.

Excellent Belvedere Martini’s and drinks arrived just as we had ordered them. Server was helpful and attentive. We had hummus appetizer and salmon entrees. They were excellent. Love the eclectic vibe and will return.

Always a solid place to dine. The food and service tend to be consistent. They are so many intriguing things on the menu. It’s hard to decide what to order. It’s a go to restaurant for us.

Never been to Chez Zee for any meal other than brunch (been doing that since the 90’s). Happily surprised that the experience remains on par for my expectations. Great service and great food. Much quieter for early weeknight dinner. Will definitely continue to return. Truly an Austin landmark that hasn’t changed that much in ambiance and experience for several decades. And it should stay that way.

A perfectly enjoyable lunch at Chez Zee! Our server Yvonne (Yvette?) was very nice & extremely attentive to refilling our party of 5's many water glasses regularly, which we all greatly appreciated. There was a glitch with one of our orders, a cheeseburger ordered without some of the many usual accompaniments, was delivered to our table with no hamburger patty, just a bun, avocado, bacon & cheese!?!?!? Definitely something was lost between the server taking the order, the chef preparing it and perhaps a manager might have looked at it before it went out and realized mmm ya, a cheeseburger, with no burger? It took awhile for it to be corrected, but it was eventually and worked out well enough. We were also very appreciative that they were willing to serve us a bowl of bacon (our favorite Chez Zee brunch appetizer) even though it wasn't on the daily lunch menu!

It's always a treat for us to go to Chez Zee. When living in Austin it was one of our top three favorite restaurants in the city. We love just about everything on the menu! We moved to the Tucson, Arizona area two years ago so it was great that we were able to get reservations for us, my son, and two of my other son's best friends. The food was as delicious as always.

A full room is great for business but can put pressure on both the service and kitchen, even in a normally reliable venue like Chez Zee. The delicious sourdough and olive oil was not offered, and although requested, did not arrive until well after the entrees The sea bass special was moist and tender, but lacked support from the paltry portion of the accompanying sauce. As a reservation-based eatery, management should be better prepared to provide an adequate response and preserve the earned reputation of this local spot.

The dishes for my party of four were all very good, and in particular the hot bacon dressing and the raspberry glaze on the pork loin. Service was great, and not intrusive. A small issue, was that we preferred our sparkling wine to be colder than served, but not a breaker.

Among the best restaurants I have tried in recent memory. Everything was fantastic, portions were generous and they offered free croissants to start which I just love. I will be back, that was some of the best brunch food I’ve had in quite a while. Service fantastic and complimentary valet service.

We started with the fried pickles and a slice of creme brulee French toast. Both were very good. I ordered the stuffed French toast and was extremely disappointed. I thought it would come with a creamy style of fruit in the middle. It was instead, two thick pieces of French toast (which was good) but whole pieces of fruit sliced (strawberries and blueberries). Not what I was looking for but it was okay.

Another wonderful dinner before Blake Shelton concert. Decided to split entree and two salads. Peter was amazing as our server. Everything was excellent!

Consistent quality, although noise was high. Lots of high-pitched voices competing to be heard a nearby tables. Otherwise, great experience.

Very cute brunch/lunch spot for a girls day. Food wasn’t super impressive but the ambience is really nice. The best part was the complementary croissants and strawberry butter

Lunch entree for one diner, New Orleans chicken, was decidedly overcooked, dry. Disappointed, because usually all good.
