Si vous êtes un vrai gourmand ou que vous ayiez envie d'un repas romantique, rendez-vous vite dans ce petit « bijou français » situé le long de la Vermilion River. Son menu « somptueux » et son personnel professionnel mais chaleureux ont été récompensés de la plus haute distinction par l'organisme Food and Service dans la région de Cleveland. Ce restaurant qui se trouve dans l'ouest du centre-ville « vaut vraiment le détour ». Il propose une « expérience divine » (l'endroit parfait pour faire sa demande en mariage !) ainsi qu'une carte des vins extraordinaire, une salle à manger au charme d'antan et un café au bord de l'eau propice à la détente. Une tenue correcte est exigée. Le bar à vins/martini, Touché, a ouvert ses portes en 2007 et sert des plats légers ainsi que de nombreuses boissons alcoolisées.

    We were celebrating with two families - an 88th birthday, a 14th birthday, and two young adults ready to enter high school. Only Chez François could make all of this work so spectacularly with a mixture of amazing food, service, and most of all, personal touch. Thank you so much to the Chez François staff for making this even so special!

    You should call to make your reservation if you want to eat on the patio- when I made our reservation you couldn't request the patio but when we arrived there were plenty of seats available on the patio. The food and service was excellent as always.

    John, Matt and the team never fail to impress. Had a delightful dinner with two college roommates and my 90 year old mother. All positive marks relative to food quality, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend this place for any occasion.

    The BEST dining experience in our area. Ambience, food, Service, just absolutely Perfect! The price is commensurate to the Quality experience!

    This is our second time at Chez François. The food was superb as last time. This time we sat in the Parisian room. The service was a little less solicitous than last time. We had the sea bass special. Delectable! And the pork shank. That was very very good as well. The shrimp cocktail was fantastic. The desserts were divine. The salad was quite tasty and the goat cheese was the perfect creamy temperature. We ordered coffees at the end and my husbands was lukewarm and mine when it came out was missing the coffee. She did redo the coffee and said it was because of the machine, but our meal Up until that point was great. Would be better if they made the coffee them selves because the presentation was not as authentic. Should have comp’d the coffees but they did not.

    I have been going to Chez Francois for about 20 years now, ever since I moved to Oberlin, and have never had a meal that was not outstanding. The Rhone Valley wine tasting dinner last night was perhaps the best ever -- superb wines to accompany a superb meal. I have traveled throughout the world and have eaten in many outstanding restaurants. Chez Francois ranks at the top of all of them. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
