We had 4 delicious drinks, with very large ice cubes. We took advantage of the 2 dollar raw oysters, small like we like them, so fresh. Also had the seafood gumbo, also really special. Definately recommend and will return.

Today I had the pleasure of dining at Chemin à la Mer in New Orleans, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a touch of elegance that made it perfect for a special occasion. The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made sure we had everything we needed. And the food? Absolutely divine. I had the duck confit, which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The flavors were rich and complex, and the portion was generous. I also tried the pork and gumbo, which were equally impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Chemin à la Mer for anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience in New Orleans. 5 stars, without a doubt! Thank you Chef E. Walts for your hospitality!!!

Ricardo waited on us with polished professionalism and attention to detail. When I indicated I would just share my husband‘s next glass of wine, it was served as two generous half glasses of wine. Excellent and deliciously chilled wine! The buratta and beets appetizer was amazing, and the view of the river elevated an already first-class experience. Drinks in the chandelier lounge started out what is one of my favorite New Orleans dinner experiences.

Wonderful cocktails and a wonderful meal. The best was our service. We were a group of 4 that had cocktails, oysters, entrees and desserts. Randall went above and beyond with his attention to detail and service. It was fantastic!

We dinned with a party of eight and had a very enjoyable evening. The noise level was low enough that we could easily talk. Several of our party had the daily fish special of swordfish, two had shrimp and two steak. The fish was excellent. The beef fillet was excellent but the NY strip was tough. We enjoyed appetizers of oysters, shrimp, and salads. All were excellent.

This restaurant was one of the best during our trip to New Orleans. We ate lunch in a peaceful setting overlooking the Mississippi River at about three o'clock in the afternoon. We placed our order for the ribeye steak, focaccia bread, and burrata beet salad. All of them were at the very top of the palate. Mandy, our server, was excellent. I heartily endorse this charming restaurant.

My dining experience is strictly limited to their breakfast menu. Coming in on a Monday morning Chemin was a great place to have some fine dining experience for breakfast. Got my standard eggs, bacon and hash browns with biscuit. Coffee was excellent as well. For the price you pay it's definitely worth going either for breakfast or lunch where the ambience is generally calm and quiet with some great views onto the river front. Give it a try if you're interested in looking for decent breakfast cuisine.

Went there for a romantic birthday dinner with my wife. Ambiance and decor is moderne and sophisticated. The food, options , cocktail , wine options were well considered- presentation and craft was of a very high order. The service was beyond exemplary.

Very disappointing given reviews. Extremely poor service/mgmt - we waited 50 minutes to be seated for our 8pm res., and were forgotten while we waited at bar. Staff was initially rude and unhelpful when we pointed out the error. Entree was served almost an hour after we ordered and 45 minutes after appetizers were served. Food is mediocre- passable as southern themed hotel food, but not special, certainly not anything innovative or new. Oyster bar lighting feels like sitting at an operating table. Do not recommend wasting time or money here. Randall the waiter, however, was lovely and made a valiant effort to save the evening. Cheers to Randall.

Lovely dining experience in Donald Link's restaurant in the Four Seasons overlooking the Mississippi River. We started our dinner with a delicious beet, burrata, and arugula salad and a dark seafood gumbo. Both were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the fish of the day which was a "stew" of swordfish, shrimp, mussels, and fennel. I look forward to dining there again.

We went here to celebrate my birthday and upcoming nuptials. The staff were incredibly kind and kept us smiling the whole night. Despite a smaller party they were even kind enough to give us their private room with access to the balcony where we could take in amazing views of the Mississippi River. Every dish was superbly cooked and supremely delicious. I could not recommend this restaurant more!

Celebrated a family member’s Birthday and Easter - eager for our first experience here. The restaurant was not crowded. Service was super slow - although our waiter was pleasant. May have been short on wait staff but had ample food runners delivering ordered food. Food and drinks were good. Baked feta and gumbo were favorite appetizers; Salmon and Gulf Shrimp dishes were delicious. Was okay considering the $$$$ price tag.

Our first visit to Chemin. Great atmosphere/design, cool restaurant for date night or a nice dinner with friends. Lunch on the balcony overlooking the river on a nice day is probably really nice too. Our server was very professional and friendly, helped with some info/suggestions. Our meals were delivered in a timely manner and were absolutely delicious. Pricey but not overpriced for the quality of food and service we experienced. Great job by the staff at Chemin, we will definitely return

My husband and I really enjoyed Chemin à la Mer. It was our first time dining as we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Shout out to our server, Robert, he providing a phenomenal job taking care of us. Luckily, we are locals, so will most certainly be back! Thank you.

My server made the difference between a good meal and an amazing meal. I’m not a fan of beans so she suggested the Brussel sprouts with the duck confit and it was epic !!!!

Service and food were top-notch! Try the green juice it’s delicious it is not something I thought I would love, but it was fantastic. All of the breakfast items we tried were so good from the quiche to the yogurt to the bread basket all would highly recommend. Great spot for breakfast !

Great food and environment, however this is not a $$ restaurant. It is a $$$$ instead.

We sat at the bar for a late lunch. Randall was awesome and we had a fantastic afternoon. Food was delicious, oysters, salad, shrimp and dessert. Wine pairing with dessert was spot on! We didnt realize they had a happy hour and we were fortunate to stay long enough to enjoy it!

We were welcomed by our wait staff within minutes who were very knowledgeable about the menu. The wine list was nice with a great selection of sparkling wines and champagnes. The oysters were outstanding and we look forward to going back to try more of the different varieties. The baked feta and the beets with burrata were both wonderful. And for entrees we had the Wagyu skirt steak and the pan seared shrimp with sides of mushrooms and puréed potatoes. All of it was cooked perfectly and the flavors were phenomenal. The desserts ended our evening on a high note! We look forward to going back again.
