The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because our drinks sat empty for some time. We eventually waved down the server. Other than that very good place.

Great service, fast and friendly. Very odd that a water front restaurant does not serve lobster. They had items on the menu that we could not order and little if any gluten free items

Strange experience. There more hostesses and employees walking around than customers, yet I still had to wait over an hour for my table. It was a party of 3. There was an empty table, that I looked out for an hour, and finally they let me sit there. People came in after and were seated before me (and I had a reservation). The explanation I got for the wait was that the party before was taking too long. But the table I sat at had been empty for at least an hour. It's a seasonal restaurant, and the hostess appeared to be inexperienced, I'd expect a better experience next time. Once I got seated, the service and food was excellent as always.

It was extremely good, our server was amazing and the food perfect. I had several empty clam shells in my steamers and the server was able to get me a half order to replace the empty shells. My friend raved about the fish tacos and another totally enjoyed the shrimp scampi. The last person in our party having a seafood allergy was able to enjoy a perfectly cooked ribeye. Thank you for making our dinner special.

Our waiter and all of the staff were amazing. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather but there were several bees swarming our table and the staff came right over to offer solutions and move our table. They were interacting with my son, bringing water to the dogs out on the patio, and super friendly and attentive. The food was beyond amazing! Everything about it was great.

Thumbs up! We sat outside and it was a little chilly so we were surprised they didn’t have heaters out but other than that 10/10

Stunning marina location. Large decks. Patio accepts dogs. Delightful staff. Occasionally slow service but it is a laid back place and seems ok. Soups and salads came out at the same time as entrees. Food is very good -tacos, salad, chowders. Scampi was kind of bland and dry with Big pieces of onion and tomato. Kind of odd. Pasta was mostly dry ie not much oil/butter. No condiments provided-tartar sauce, grated cheese. Took several asks and a long time to get tartar sauce and we didn’t bother with asking for grated cheese. Drinks are creative and excellent.

Quality of food was poor. Service was very good. It was very chilly for all…there were heaters in corner of deck but not being used.

I made reservations to sit inside, but we were seated outside. I didn’t say anything because I thought maybe they don’t have the staff for inside seating. We were taken to a dirty table and I asked the hostess if perhaps she could have it cleaned off, she decided to just sit us at another table. This where I believe it all began. We sat down and no one came over to say they were our waiter/waitress or to offer us water. After about 25 minutes my husband finally got up and spoke with a gentleman, who appeared to be the manager, to let him know we didn’t have a waiter/waitress. Finally, a nice young man came over, it was apparent this was not his table. It seemed he was overwhelmed but he did the best he could and despite everything going on he was very pleasant. I will say, the weather was very nice and I imagine this had something to do with how busy it appeared to be. I have been here on busy summer days and this type of bad service would understandable but it was definitely unexpected in October.

My baked scrod was dry and chewy. Green beans way to underdone. Server was great though. Won't recommend the food. Very under seasoned also.

Outdoor dining at 3 during a September week is the perfect time to avoid crowds and get the best service and food here. Stuffie starter was huge! Fish and chips were excellent as was my husbands fish reuben. Are the fries new? They were much better than I remembered them, crispy outside, pillowy inside with a tasty seasoning. Service was friendly and professional. Great experience overall in a beautiful waterfront location!

The food was pretty bad. I know you pay to be on the water but there is a limit to how bad the food can get. Our salads were wilted and tasted bad.

The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. The restaurant was very loud, but not obnoxious. The teen staff seemed preoccupied with chatting. I would not rush back.

I think when a party come in with at least 10 people, they should have a certain area to be seated at. We were sitting, eating out meal, they sat a party right near us that were so loud, we couldn’t even hear our friends talking to us. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.

The food was excellent. We were all very pleased with our meals. Our waiter, Jerry, was terrific. He was attentive and we enjoyed the friendly banter between him and all of us that were seated at our table.

Every year we look forward to dining at Chelos Waterfront and normally have a great experience. Not this year. We had a reservation for six, but was told someone was sitting at our table. After being seated in a busy hallway at the door, I had to ask for a different table. I ordered my favorite drink and it tasted off. Couldn’t finish it, told the waitress and ordered a beer instead. When the check came the very expensive drink was listed as Maker’s Mark. No way was it made with MM. Management wouldn’t take the drink off check. The food was okay but not up to the quality of we’ve experienced in past years. They’ve lost a good customer.

Basically, they have good Pub food. Nice outside dinning experience with music. We go every year when we’re back in RI once or twice. I must say I had to send my drink back. Aperol Spritz. The WORST I’ve ever had anywhere. Very little Aperol with seltzer. I don’t believe there was a drop of Prosecco. Flat, no taste and disappointing. Any of the IPA’s I would have ordered……..they were out. Guess they need a new Bar manager.

Food was good but ruined by the very loud band. Good band but better for a nightclub. Conversation was impossible. Had to shout in the waiters ear while he bent over to place our order.

The band Angelus Hall was amazing! Great way to end the summer. Great music by Angelus Hall, a 90 degree sunny day and good food. Great customer service. Felt very welcome. Will definitely be back.
