Amazing dinner as always at the Chart House. We had gone to celebrate my graduation, and the overall experience was really great. All my guests really loved the food, the service, and the brilliant view. Thank you to all the staff from our family. See you again very soon.

The view and The Food above and beyond. Everything is perfect - from the service (we had been served by Maggie) till perfect food and surroundings. View - of course - just gorgeous. The House is busy, but you do not feel it, you got all attention and all request such bread, kids menu were done in sec.

The Chart House never disappoints. We have eaten here for special occasions, parties, and just plain going out to dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere are all superb. Last night, my family and I celebrated our daughter’s graduate degree from Columbia University. When I reserved the table, I made a note that we were celebrating her graduation. When we arrived, the receptionist wished her congratulations. When the server, Zayn, came over, she wish her congratulations. Zayn was awesome. She was so attentive and her recommendations for cocktails and food was spot on. We ordered their hummus and coconut shrimp for the table. Each person ordered their own appetizer. The lobster bisque was so creamy and filled with big chunks of lobster. The seared tuna and crispy spicy tuna was delicious and fresh. The oysters are always fresh and the Caesar salad has a very nice homemade dressing. For our main courses, my one daughter ordered the King Crab Legs and the other ordered the coconut shrimp as a main. My wife ordered the crusted Salmon which was perfectly cooked. I had the black linguini de mare which was a first for me. It was delicious and paired perfectly with a French Sauvignon Blanc. For dessert, we each had the mini chocolate lava cake. Zayn even made sure my daughter’s dessert plate said “Congratulations” on it. It was a perfect night.

Our server Alex was exceptional! The food was great and we were so happy to be given a window seat. The 3-course Mother’s Day menu was a good value.

We love the chart house. I’ve come here since I could remember. We love the food the ambiance and of course the view. This time I didn’t quite enjoy my experience as much because I’ve had so many great servers there before that maybe the server was overwhelmed or new.

We go every year for Mother's Day and my son's birthday combined. Ambience and food was amazing as always. The only downfall this year was we felt VERY rushed. No sooner were we done with apps, then the salad was on front of us. So then we asked to pause a minute before our main course. The waiter said that would not be a problem but then in moments, the food was out. Word to the wise, take your time ordering so they cant rush you!! I wish i could do it again and SLOW DOWN bc the day was semi-ruined by this :(

Overall great experience. It was Mother’s Day, so we knew it would be crowded. We had a 2:45pm reservation and didn’t leave until about 5:45pm.

Obviously the location and views are unmatched, but the food and service was very poor. Sad. I hope it improves.

Our waitress, Michele was attentive and helpful. Hans (the manager) paid attention to detail and personally made sure each table was taken care of. The cuisine is always fresh and delicious. There is an excellent array of choices on the menu. The restaurant boasts picturesque views of the NYC skyline.

As always excellent service from the moment you get to the restaurant. Valet parking is available and recommended 🤗. The food was delicious and the dessert was good too. We sat the furthest away from the river and still enjoyed the view.

It was a lovely meal and wonderful service from Michelle. My wife and I have been going to this Chart House for about 30 years. We’ve been to a few locations in other states as well. We look forward to the Mother’s Day Brunch next weekend…

Great experience and meal. We had not been there for some time due to a not so great evening a few years ago. Service was very attentive. It was our anniversary and everyone from the maitre-d to the wait staff wished us well. Food was really good and of course the view and atmosphere are second to none. Wry glad we tried again and we will be back.

Amazing view of the city and the food was wonderful. We had the calamari, crispy rice with tuna, hummus trio, prime rib, Caesar with grilled shrimp, and a few of the combo selections with dessert.

The views were beautiful, the service pleasant and accommodating but a little slow as we had to wait a long time between courses. Since we were with friends we hadn't seen in a very long time we didn't mind the wait that much, and they were busy. For the most part the food was delicious, but I took off one star because my husband ordered the king crab legs for $95. While they were meaty and a good quantity (1.5 lbs) they were also a bit dry, which is disappointing when you are paying that much. Also the Coke he ordered was watery. The rest of us ordered from the prix fixe section. This offered a choice of two different salads or soup, the entree and dessert, which was a chocolate lava cake with ice cream. The salad was huge, the lobster bisque I had was wonderful and we all loved our entrees and dessert. Although more of an expensive restaurant, the portions were generous, the food excellent for the most part, and the ambiance incredible - so overall I would recommend for a special occasion.

We have been here before and had great food experiences, but this time our fish and steak were both overcooked and I bit into shell in the crab cake. Bummed but would still try it again for the views.

I thought the dinner was great. Every dish had a distinct flavor. Waiter was super attentive and staff wished wife a happy birthday. The scene out the windows was nyc skyline so as Beautiful as it gets

Service was very good and we had a beautiful spring evening, full moon and spectacular view of the city. Thought the food however was just okay and not on par with the price point. Being more about the food than the view I likely wouldn’t go back here as I think there are many other options for great food. But if you want the view more than the food, then this is your place!

The place is beautiful, the view is spectacular and the servers were ok, that’s where the good stuff ends. The food was mediocre at best , the $100 lobster tail was tough as leather with absolutely no flavor. The side vegetables came out of a steam fresh bag and had no seasoning at all. The squid ink pasta was good. The prime rib was ok at best. For the price this place is definitely not worth it. For what we paid we could have gone to the best steak houses in NYC. We will not be returning

Elegant and beautiful restaurant with scenic view of the skyline. All the staff from the bartenders, to servers to bus boys were on point. Food was excellent, and considering the atmosphere and service, it was very reasonable.
